Exchanging Terrorists for Kidnapped Innocents
This week, again, Hamas has agreed to continue negotiations on release of Jews taken hostage by Hamas.
1)
The simple fact is that kidnapping and hostage taking is nothing new in the Muslim world. The practice goes back to the early days of Islam in Mecca and Yathrib (Medina), when Christians and Jews were taken hostage and forced to convert to Islam or killed.
2)
It was a practice essential to the slave trade in West Africa, where Muslim forces kidnapped and sold captives to Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and English interests. A lot of other examples could be noted over the past 1,400 years.
3)
And today, ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, and various other Islamic groups continue the practice, believing that this is the key to get concessions—exchanges of prisoners being held for terrorism and murder—and leverage.
4)
So, how should the nations of the world respond to this kind of inhumane tactic? What can be done to end it or at least to discourage it?
(A) Refuse to negotiate with kidnappers and terrorists.
5)
(B) Isolate and penalize nations that tolerate, aid, encourage, or finance those who take hostages or try to make deals for them.
6)
(C) Take definite military action to destroy those who believe kidnapping, hostage taking, and making deals for hostages is a workable tactic, and end the pandering of terrorists and terrorist movements.
7)
(D) Understand that different cultures view the value of life differently and plan policy based on understanding those differences and how that makes policy more or less difficult to devise."

But maybe there is a reason.
1)
Omeed Malik has financed Carlson’s broadcast venture to the tune of $15 million. Malik, a Muslim of Pakistani and Iranian background, has contacts in Iran.
2)
I think we should question some of the other things he is involved in.
I am concerned that he may be a problem for national security."

Those who have had children grow up, get married, move away, know how it feels—the happiness for them, the sadness of their leaving, and the worry about how their lives will be.
2)
Moses, I imagine, felt all those things in his last address to the people he led for 40 years before his own death and before they would become a fully free nation in the land promised to them.

@PenninahBloom I truly miss Pope John Paul II because his legacy was improving Christian-Jewish relations and is defined by unprecedented efforts to heal centuries of division, foster mutual respect, and establish a foundation for lasting reconciliation.
1)
@PenninahBloom He is widely recognized as the most significant figure in transforming Catholic-Jewish relations in modern history, breaking down deep-seated prejudices and building bridges between the two faiths.
2)
@PenninahBloom His personal history, growing up in Wadowice, Poland, where he had Jewish friends and neighbors and witnessed the Holocaust firsthand, profoundly shaped his understanding and empathy towards the Jewish people. He often referred to Jews as "our elder brothers in faith,"

But one might ask—where is the money going?
1)
Well, in the past year, more than $480 million in UNICEF funds has been provided to the Palestinians, approximately 81% of spending, providing schoolbooks and food.
2)
Of course, the need for help is worldwide, but for some reason, UNICEF focuses on Palestinian Arabs. The rest seems to go to Muslim nations.
And remember what is in those schoolbooks—anti-Jewish, anti-USA propaganda, teaching lies, hate, and jihadism.

Frankly, I do not see much to differentiate the three top candidates. They all appear to be anti-American, Trump haters, and anti-Israel antisemites.
1)
I suggest that whoever wins this presidential race, Ireland, will solve none of its problems and will continue to take sides with those who want to destroy Western civilization.
2)
Further, as Ireland has already said they are blocking trade with Israel, Israel should block Irish goods in return, name Irish leaders present and future as persona non grata and ban them from entering Israel, and change visa rules for Irish citizens and passport holders.
