A little boy in Scotland got home today from school to find his new best friend there.

His name is Panda and he’s flown across the world to greet him.

What an epic 8 month comeback for Panda… (1/8) 🧵

I found Panda outside a 7-11 in Thailand chronically obese and close to death.

He only had a day or 2 to live at most (2/8)

He spent 10 days in ICU clinging to life. To be honest I wasn’t sure if the huge vet bill would be worth it.

The vets worked wonders but he had a long road ahead of him (3/8)

It took us months to build him back up. Panda didn’t go back on the streets.

Instead we found him a home in Scotland and he headed off on that journey last week fully better (4/8)

Panda was a little confused as he took

🚕 ⛴️ Samui to Bangkok
✈️ Bangkok to Paris
🚗 ⛴️ Paris to Scotland

We always worry but we check the dogs and interview people in depth. We needn’t have worried with Panda (5/8)

Panda arrived and although a little jet lagged he has already set about exploring all that Scotland had to offer.

He was wondering if someone could turn on the fire please? (6/8)

Panda says he can’t understand a word anybody is saying but his tail hasn’t stopped wagging.

No more sleeping on the street outside 7-11. He has his own family now (7/8)

Best friends for life. No doubt about it.
