Gary Kalus wrote, "It is not unusual when someone dies, especially someone in the public eye, that many people come out to pay tribute and it is also not unusual that when they do, they do so from their own vantage point of having interacted with the deceased.
1)
That's what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did when he paid tribute to Charlie Kirk and posted:
"Charlie Kirk was murdered for speaking truth & defending freedom. A lion-hearted friend of Israel, he fought the lies and stood tall for Judeo-Christian civilization.
2)
I spoke to him only two weeks ago and invited him to Israel. Sadly, that visit will not take place.
We lost an incredible human being.
His boundless pride in America and his valiant belief in free speech will leave a lasting impact.
Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk"
3)
Then he was on Harris Faulkner's Fox show and said:
"We’re shattered first as human beings, because a great human being has been taken from us. He was an extraordinary friend. He wrote me a letter on May 2 this year.
4)
He said, ‘One of my greatest joys as a Christian is advocating for Israel and forming alliances to defend Judeo-Christian civilization.'"
Is there any problem with what Netanyahu wrote and said here?
5)
Well Israel haters Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens think so and believe that what Netanyahu said was disgraceful.
6)
Said Tucker Carlson:
"I was shocked and sickened by the reaction of– the ghoulish and really repulsive reaction of the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, to Charlie’s death.
7)
Basically made it all about him and all about his country, immediately trying to take the energy, the sadness, the grief that people felt over Charlie’s murder and redirect it towards support for whatever project he’s involved in.
8)
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything lower than his attempt to hijack Charlie’s memory and use it for his own political ends, particularly because what he said was completely untrue.”
Tucker has also said of Charlie:
"He was appalled by what was happening in Gaza."
9)
I've posted several videos of Charlie Kirk passionately defending Israel's actions in Gaza. Here is what Charlie said in a video of him debating students at Cambridge University in England:
11)
"When you declare war on Israel, expect a firestorm in reaction. On Shabbat, Hamas invaded Israel, deciding to go recklessly to music concerts, to homes, to kibbutzes and taking 200-plus hostages.
12)
They knew what they were doing ...A tragic truth of war is that civilians die. I don’t like it, and you don’t like it. And they brought it upon themselves. The only operation and entity to blame is the leadership of Hamas, not the Israeli government,
13)
for fighting this defensive war. ... There is a good guy and there is a bad guy."
Charlie also said:
"I believe in the scriptural land rights given to Israel, I believe in the fulfillment of prophecy. I am not a theologian, but I’m a Christian.
14)
My life was changed in Israel — the spiritual energy there is so amazing. I want them to win, and I’ve said that repeatedly."
Tucker Carlson is a liar and an Israel hater not to mention a Jew hater as he has had Holocaust deniers on his show that he fawned all over.
15)
Candace Owens has been spreading the conspiracy that Israel was pressuring Charlie who she claims was wavering from his support for Israel and that the Israelis actually had him killed.
Candace also has said that Israel had JFK killed.
16)
Megyn Kelly has said that Israel was using Jeffrey Epstein to blackmail American Congressfolk. She basically said this to Charlie on a video & Charlie said "I have no evidence of that" to which Megyn said "neither have I".
But she had no problem making the allegation anyway.
17
Megyn feels we should all talk about this allegation because "it is out there" but she doesn't think we should talk about the obvious antisemitism of Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens although that is also out there.
18)
Go back to the beginning of this post and read what Netanyahu said about Charlie and then read what Charlie said about Israel.
And remember that we use to see Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens together all the time and she became the Communications Director of his TPUSA.
19)
Then in 2019 she was forced to resign because of her blatant antisemitism and in the last 6 years we have not seen Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens together in public again, not one time.
20)
The disgusting thing here is that Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens have used Charlie's death to attack Israel, a nation that Charlie supported passionately." 21)

@RobSchneider I remember when Hollyweird turned its back on Roseanne after she had given jobs to so many. They all knew she was not a racist. She had fought for civil rights her whole life and ensured African Americans were represented on the new version of the Roseaane Show and yet,
1)
@RobSchneider they canceled her over her misconstrued tweet and refused to allow her to apologize and explain what the tweet was about.
I was friendly with her on Twitter and we were talking to Iranians at the time who wanted peace with Israel.
2)
@RobSchneider The people of Iran love Israel and Israelis love Iranians. Iranians wanted their freedom. Her misconstrued tweet was not just about how the left is classist and uses class to divide us but

Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "Tucker Carlson is now an anti-Semitic conspiracy person, blaming Israel and Jews for things that make no sense other than to someone motivated to hate.
But maybe there is a reason.
1)
Omeed Malik has financed Carlson’s broadcast venture to the tune of $15 million. Malik, a Muslim of Pakistani and Iranian background, has contacts in Iran.
2)
I think we should question some of the other things he is involved in.
I am concerned that he may be a problem for national security."

Moses, I imagine, felt all those things in his last address to the people he led for 40 years before his own death and before they would become a fully free nation in the land promised to them.

@PenninahBloom I truly miss Pope John Paul II because his legacy was improving Christian-Jewish relations and is defined by unprecedented efforts to heal centuries of division, foster mutual respect, and establish a foundation for lasting reconciliation.
1)
@PenninahBloom He is widely recognized as the most significant figure in transforming Catholic-Jewish relations in modern history, breaking down deep-seated prejudices and building bridges between the two faiths.
2)
@PenninahBloom His personal history, growing up in Wadowice, Poland, where he had Jewish friends and neighbors and witnessed the Holocaust firsthand, profoundly shaped his understanding and empathy towards the Jewish people. He often referred to Jews as "our elder brothers in faith,"

Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "Clearly, something needs to be said again:
Exchanging Terrorists for Kidnapped Innocents
This week, again, Hamas has agreed to continue negotiations on release of Jews taken hostage by Hamas.
1)
The simple fact is that kidnapping and hostage taking is nothing new in the Muslim world. The practice goes back to the early days of Islam in Mecca and Yathrib (Medina), when Christians and Jews were taken hostage and forced to convert to Islam or killed.
2)
It was a practice essential to the slave trade in West Africa, where Muslim forces kidnapped and sold captives to Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and English interests. A lot of other examples could be noted over the past 1,400 years.
