'Trump added: “Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years, a war that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win.”'
'“I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius.’ Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine — Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful,” Trump said in a radio interview'
Here is Trump claiming in 2023, that he could easily end the conflict in Ukraine, in 24 hours of becoming president, again, to Nigel Farage. Note how he is deadly serious about this, and it is the type of claim that got him re-elected again.
4/
Apparently, Donald Trump made this claim, 53 times, all in a serious tone of voice. However, after he got elected, he lied and claimed he'd only said it in jest, and he wasn't serious. I've put that video there, so you can judge for yourself.
On countless occasions, including in his first term in office, Donald Trump repeatedly praised Vladimir Putin and said he knew him well. He dismissed everyone that said Putin was playing him.
Likewise, Donald Trump has never stopped telling us in the last 10 years, what a genius he is.
7/
Does Donald Trump sound like a genius, when Vladimir Putin, played him like a very gullible fish, and he totally underestimated, how difficult it would be to end Putin's military action in Ukraine?
8/
Does anyone remember 6 months ago, when Donald Trump and JD Vance, humiliated President Zelensky in the White House, by shouting at him in front of the world's media, calling him ungrateful and unrealistic?
9/
This is how you hold Donald Trump to account, for his non-stop stream of lies, and vainglorious, hollow boasting about his genius and dealmaking ability. You just bring up what he said before, and show people the reality of what happened next. It ain't difficult.
10/
You keep doing that over and over again, until no one takes any more notice of this dangerous, lying buffoon, until he is totally discredited, and no one takes any more notice of his lies and boasts. However, it seems like the media forgot how to do basic journalism.
11/
This is not political or ideological. Trump is simply incompetent, and an outrageous liar, who totally overestimates his abilities and competence.

This is classic manipulative gaslighting, and attempted mind control. The idea of the very rich, is to stop people finding out, how many other people care about climate change, so they will conform, and not take it seriously. It's the tail trying to wag the dog.
2/
The reason the very rich don't want people to care about climate change is twofold. First, they have by far the greatest emissions of any demographic, with the top 1% of the richest, producing far more emission, than the bottom 66%.
The whole problem, is that the media and commentators are not holding Donald Trump to account over his lies. I used a simple example of how Trump's present position over Ukraine is totally inconsistent with what he has said over the last 9 years.
Trump's not merely contradicting what he said over the last 9 years, but what Trump said over the last less than 9 months. The top post in my thread got 3 likes and 400 views, and in quite a short thread the other posts got 1 like and 50 views.
It seems like the MAGA cult has a problem processing this factual information. Because until 500 years or so ago, there were no white Europeans living in North America, were Native Americans. The immigrants came in, and took over.
2/
Anglo-Saxons, are not native to Britain. They are another immigrant culture, that arrived on small boats, and took over the country.
Therefore, it's very easy to understand why this WASP, white supremacist cult, are so fearful about being displaced.
People are familiar how cliques work, from office and work place cliques, school, college and university cliques etc, but they are not familiar how they work at high level, simply as very few have access to these social strata, and they are so secretive.
1/🧵
Does this mean, that cliques don't exist in senior political, executive level management, and the social world of the very rich? Of course, they exist, probably far more so, as such social circles are very exclusive.
2/
During the Leveson Inquiry into media phone hacking and media corruption, it proved very difficult to get a judge, and lawyers, that were not socially unknown to the upper echelons of the establishment featuring in it.
3/
Our whole society is being controlled by a tiny clique of disingenuous, manipulative, powerful and wealthy people, pretending to believe in and be pursuing agendas they don't really believe in. They are destroying our society, with their manipulation.
1/🧵
When I say, clique, I mean a morass of overlapping and interlinked cliques, because these people are often not in the same social networks, and they often differ on some topics. However, broadly they have similar common and vested interests, like avoiding paying tax.
2/
In fact, amongst themselves they can be very competitive, jockeying for wealth, status and influence, but when push comes to shove, they become as thick as thieves, and it is them against 99% of humanity.
3/
We need to have a talk about disingenuous politicians, commentators etc. As our societies are being ripped apart by these manipulative people. Before I go on, I am not saying only right wing politicians are disingenuous, only consistently more so.
1/🧵
Disingenuous means basically means insincere, sly, knowingly deceptive. In terms of leadership, that they're effectively, a confidence trickster, drawing people in, getting their confidence, and manipulating and exploiting them for their own ends.
2/
Some people, groups of people, can be totally disingenuous, to the point that absolutely nothing they tell you, or very little of it is genuine. Or at the other end of the spectrum, people can be largely sincere and genuine, but be deceitful about some things.
