🔴 🧵 ANALYSIS: THE END OF THE WAR IN GAZA? Looking back at things from the 10,000-foot view, it is natural to think that the Gaza War might finally be over. Let’s dive into why that might be.
After Trump revealed his plan for Gaza around a week ago, things have been moving quickly. Hams has their back to the wall - the Arab countries made promises to Trump and have ambitious plans for the Strip once the war is over, and Hams isn’t a part of those plans.
Trump in recent days has understood that parts of his plan will likely be problematic, so he instead refocused his efforts on Phase I of the plan - the hostage release. Trump wants to get the hostages released and then worry about issues like disarmament and demilitarization later.
However, the second they release all of the hostages, they lose any leverage they had. They will be forced to accept the rest of the plan under threat of an unrestrained IDF campaign to eradicate them for good.
More importantly, none of the Arab countries, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, will agree to enter Gaza while Hams is still there, so they will insist that Hams be removed from Gaza and Gaza will be demilitarized.
All of this is to say that Hams might have finally realized that the game is up and agreed to release the hostages in the hopes of negotiating some form of survival for the organization outside of Gaza, and in an attempt to preserve their forces against the PA in Judea & Samaria. The alternative is full destruction by the IDF.

This unprecedented war (in length and scale) has taken a massive toll on the public, and people want the war to end, full stop.

🚨🧵IDF RELEASES SHOCKING DETAILS OF The plan devised by Abu Obeida to stop the operation to conquer Gaza City: This is how Hams' consciousness and propaganda apparatus in Gaza operates. A series of new revelations about Hamas's propaganda, consciousness, and influence apparatus, which until this week was headed by the military wing spokesman Abu Obeida.
Hams's propaganda and consciousness apparatus included about 1,500 terrorists (in contrast, about 2 times all the regular soldiers the IDF has in the corresponding apparatuses - the IDF spokesman and the influence department). This is an array that Abu Obeida has built up over the past decade, and its strength has significantly increased. During Protective Edge, it included about 400 terrorists, and since then, it has quadrupled in size in a decade.
The majority of the array - about 1,000 terrorists - consists of terrorists deployed in the field, in Hams battalions and brigades. Each battalion and brigade in the military wing has a propaganda director, a senior representative on Abu Obeida's behalf who manages the consciousness efforts, and under him are terrorists who are "operational documenters" who have been trained in field photography. In recent years, Abu Obeida has led an extensive procurement and equipping effort of GoPro cameras, camera protection kits, carrying cases, and batteries.

Trump proposes establishing an American trusteeship regime to replace Hams rule in Gaza for a period of at least ten years, with the aim of renewing the Strip and turning it into the "Riviera of the Middle East.”
The plan includes developing luxury tourist areas, establishing 6 to 8 smart cities based on AI, new industrial zones, and new infrastructure, with the help of private and public investments. A significant portion of the money will presumably come from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, while the US wants to see Qatar involved as well (Israel is less keen)
