Trump is not some sort of hero, deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize, for this so-called peace deal. Trump is personally responsible for all the tens of thousands Palestinian deaths since he has been in office, as Biden before him.
1/🧵
Both Biden and Trump could have immediately stopped the genocidal massacre of Palestinian civilians, and their starvation, by simply threatening to cut off US military and other aid, as Trump did with Ukraine.
2/
In fact, it this difference between Trump's attitude to Israel and Ukraine, that nullifies his claim to be a peacemaker. Sure, Trump has had to reverse his attitude to Ukraine, after it became apparent, that Putin was the obstacle.
3/
Canon imagine Trump and Vance, humiliating Netanyahu, in the way they did to Zelensky? Of course not. Which destroys any false narrative of Trump the great peacemaker. Trump has been a facilitator of genocidal murder.
4/
Of course, I welcome a ceasefire, the return of Israeli hostages, by Hamas. But progressives have been calling for this, for a very long time. I find it weird, that Trump/MAGA falsely assumes that progressives support Biden et al. It is not right vs left as the liars imply.
5/
Biden and the Democratic leadership, have never been left wing, and nor are most progressives, simplistically left wing. If they support left wing socialists, it's because they were the only ones offering progressive policy.
6/
At one time, even conventional Conservatives, offered progressive policy, even if less so than the actual political left. As a climate and environment activist for over 50 years. I can say, that left wing/socialist policy, on the environment, has not been very good.
7/
This left right psychodrama on climate and sustainability policy, has been a result of the lunatic right, starting to deny climate change, due to fossil fuel funding, not because climate policy was left wing. This left right divide on climate, never used to exist.
8/
I am sick and tired of the oligarch, and corporate owned media propaganda war, to mislead the public, about not only climate, sustainability, Palestine, but the whole neoliberal/austerity, pile of steaming bullshit. They are gaslighting the public.
9/
The media stopped reporting the news a very long time ago, if it ever did. Instead, instead they started making the news up, to gaslight the public for oligarch, and corporate interests. There is very little difference between the right and neoliberal centre, in reality.
10/
Both the right, both the old Conservative right (because the modern right is anything, but Conservative) and centrist neoliberals, primarily support the oligarch and big corporate agenda, against the public interest.
11/
The old political right, left, and centre, were all taken over, in a very covert neoliberal coup. Even Reagan and Thatcher promoters of neoliberalism, never called it, by its name.
12/
Whilst neoliberalism might once have been an ideological thing, it was soon absorbed into the agenda of billionaires and big corporations. It's impossible to know what modern neoliberalism is, because of neoliberal secrecy.
13/
Modern neoliberalism is promulgated by a secretive network of dark money funded think tanks. Where their funding is as opaque as the policy they promote, and get dark money funded politicians to impose on us.
14/
Most of the public are totally unaware of the existence of neoliberalism, or that the modern populist right, and the so-called centre are both neoliberal, actually promoting similar policy. Just different flavours of it.
15/
As I say, for 40+ years, it has been impossible to work out what neoliberalism, actually was, since politicians started denying its existence, and pretending it was a conspiracy theory, despite it once being an open ideology, that went covert and dark, as the public hated it.
16/
Returning, to the Palestinian situation. It's impossible to understand the total Western deference to Israeli policy, as it is obviously much more than Israel is the US's puppy in the Middle East. It's even more dark and covert than neoliberalism.
17/
Most of the public have no idea, that Christian Zionists, in the US, alone, outnumber the global Jewish population, who are not all Zionists, over 2:1. That's it. Most Zionists, are not Jewish, and many Jewish people oppose Zionism.
This is further complicated, because not all Jewish Zionists, have the same outlook, and the agenda of right wing extremists like Netanyahu, is not Zionism per se. This makes any sort of analysis, very difficult.
19/
I have the greatest respect for Jewish people, even those wrapped up in misguidedly supporting Netanyahu's nasty policy, because they are misled, and gaslighted, just like the public is misled in the West, into supporting neoliberal politics.
20/
The public is seriously misled about the agenda of billionaire/oligarchs, and big corporate interests, that merge into each other. Much like neoliberalism is made covert, because the public hate it, so is the oligarch/corporate agenda.
21/
This is one of the main reasons, I despise all ideology, and think the very concept of ideology is very bad. Even if it starts out with noble aspirations, it is soon co-opted as a vehicle for power, and vested interests.
22/
The true nature of the elite who runs our societies, is not a single entity, but interlinking, circles of powerful cliques, vying with each other for power and control, against the public interest. The best way of understanding this is fuzzy logic.
23/
Previously, in logic, set theory, put things into one category or the other, with dichotomies. But reality is not like this. So Fuzz Set Theory, to give it its proper name, has degrees of membership, not an absolute dichotomy i.e. one or the other.
Fuzzy set theory, best describes the interlinking, power cliques that run our societies. Where they have common interests, and different competing interests. They can be as thick as thieves against the public, whilst engaging in their own power struggles, with each other.
25/
This is very dangerous, because none of those in these power cliques, really have any idea of how it all works. It has developed the structure of an entity. But it is an entity, now one is in control of, and they don't know how it works.

Once again, Twitter/X, seems to be hiding my own posts from me. I was trying to explained the messed up nature of our modern society. We need to understand another systems theory, property, and that is emergent properties.
1/🧵
An emergent property, is where out of a set of parameters of a system, a whole new property emerges, that can't simplistically be understood, from the parts of the system it emerged from. It develops a life of its own.
This has what has happened to our societies. For instance, Donald Trump, delusionally believes, that not only is he in charge of America, but he's in charge of the world. But Trump's dumb machinations, are creating global chaos, which will gobble him up, along with the US.
3/
I made this comment in response to @ZackPolanski comment, about being attacked by the right. I will place it as a free standing thread. It is about why an agenda of radical change, is the only realistic way forward, and why.
1/🧵
“There are now no non-radical futures. The choice is between immediate and profound social change or waiting a little longer for chaotic and violent social change. In 2023 the window for this choice is rapidly closing.”
@KevinClimate
What the right cannot get through their thick heads, is that radical change is coming whether you like it or not. The climate and ecological crisis is going to radically alter our societies, ESPECIALLY, if we try to carry on with business as usual BaU.
3/
I want to commend @ZackPolanski for finally saying things in public, in a strong and forthright way, that appeals to everyone. Progressives, without a platform, have been saying these things for years, but never have they been effectively articulated publicly.
1/🧵
Yes, other politicians, have said enlightened things, and I acknowledge them. But none have shaken up the discourse, like @ZackPolanski has. We need far more people to pick up the baton, and start saying these things, in a clear and effective way, to speak with one voice.
2/
We need to create a mass movement for change. This can only be effective, if we speak with one voice, and to put aside any factional bickering. To stop our societies being taken over by the lies of the populist right, we need to come together and fight.
3/
This is straight up sophistry, clever false argument by @lewis_goodall. I can explain to @ZackPolanski how to deal with false argument like this. Instead of trying to counter the false argument, the tactic should be to demand he produces examples to support his assertions.
1/🧵
@lewis_goodall is not asking questions. He is making a series of provably false assertions, implying that fascists declare their intentions to create a one party authoritarian state, before they get into power. I know of no example where this has happened.
2/
In all the examples I'm aware of, especially in a democratic system, fascists only create an authoritarian one party state, after they've got into power. Most deny that is their intention.
3/
So I'm supposed to believe that I only got 298 views and 8 likes, on a factual, thread about the Orwellian truth manipulation we are being subjected to, when I have over 26K followers, and 2 months ago, over half a million people were viewing my threads? 1/7
Here is the evidence of the sort of viewing figures I was getting only 2 months ago. I mean, I have had over 3.2 million views in 7 days. I know what happened, I am not fucking stupid. 2/7
After Charlie Kirk was shot, when the Trump regime were trying to turn him into a martyr of left wing violence. I merely pointed out no one deserves to be killed for what they said. But the prima facie evidence, was it was by a lone deranged gunman.
