Oh, you wanna talk about how “dangerous” Chicago is?

Alright… let’s go!

Here is the actual risk the average resident faced over the last 72 hours, so you can fully understand just how dangerous Chicago really is. 🧵 Image
From Oct 7–10, 2025, there were shootings across the majority of U.S. states… with Texas having the most shootings (10).

But, we are looking at cities…

Instead of raw totals, let’s measure per capita risk… meaning how likely an average resident is to be a victim.
Here’s the Top 10 Most Dangerous U.S. Cities (in terms of shootings victims) in the last 72 hours. Image
Notice something?

Chicago isn’t even close to the most dangerous city.

Yet, here comes the administration, waving the city around like it’s Gotham… all to justify militarized chaos.
Smaller cities with a single shooting suddenly look apocalyptic when you look at it per capita.

Meanwhile, Chicago gets painted as a warzone, because fear is easier than facts when you’re trying to expand authoritarian power.
And the fact is:

A city of 2.7 million will naturally have more incidents than a city of 200k… that doesn’t make it “more dangerous.”
And acting like Chicago is “more dangerous” is classic propaganda:

Create a narrative that a city is “out of control” → justify heavy-handed policing → distract from actual threats → expand control.
When in reality, Chicago was far safer per resident than these smaller cities.

While the most dangerous thing about Chicago is the narrative being sold to justify a police-state playbook.
Per capita stats don’t lie and context matters.

So, next time someone screams: “Chicago is so dangerous!”

Ask: “Compared to what?”

Republicans have been talking a lot about policies that failed to keep Iryna Zarutska safe.

So, since they suddenly care about women’s safety…

Let’s talk about all the policies, they’ve pushed, that make it harder for women to not be murdered every single day. 🧵
Domestic violence is the most lethal threat to women—literally. In the U.S., an estimated 4,000 women die each year at the hands of an intimate partner… that’s more than three women every single day.
So what kinds of policies make all this worse?

Let’s go through them…

Republicans keep shouting that Biden took 577 vacation days in 4 years.

That number isn’t just wrong… it’s a straight-up lie.

Here’s the real math… and how Trump racked up over twice as many days off, all while billing taxpayers and pocketing millions. 🧵 Image
Biden took about 117–118 full vacation days in his first term.

+ Another 66 partial days (spent partly at a vacation home but still working).

That’s 183–184 total days away … roughly 12.5% of his presidency.

Only ~76 days (5%) had no public record of him working.
So where does the GOP’s “577 days” come from?

They counted every day Biden wasn’t sleeping at the White House… even if he was working from Delaware, Camp David, or on official travel.

That’s like calling your boss “on vacation” every time they work from home. 🙄

Press secretary Karoline Leavitt is one of the best press secretaries in decades for being informed, direct, and answering questions?

Let’s take a look… 🧵 Image
1. Refusal to Answer Follow-Up Questions:

During a March 26, 2025, press briefing, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked Leavitt about a leaked group chat involving Trump administration officials. Leavitt responded, “I have now been asked and answered this question three times by the both of you,” and refused to take Collins’ follow-up question.
2. Abruptly Ending a Press Briefing:

On June 11, 2025, Leavitt ended a press briefing after being questioned about the administration’s stance on free speech amid protests in Los Angeles. She dismissed reporters’ questions as “stupid” and left the room, leading to criticism that she was avoiding difficult questions.

I didn’t think Republicans had an issue with adultery, given that Trump has cheated on every wife he’s had…

But since they suddenly seem to care now… 🧵 Image
Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) –

🚨 Trump’s administration is once again running cover for a pedophile…

This time, a senior Israeli cybersecurity official caught in a Nevada child-luring sting.

What happened next is not normal… 🧵
The man was arrested in Henderson, NV after allegedly trying to lure a child online.

Charge: felony, 1–10 years in prison if convicted.
He was released on just $10,000 bail.

For comparison, Nevada stings like this usually bring $25k–$150k bail…sometimes no bail at all.

🚨 Federal ID checkpoints are now showing up in Washington, D.C.🚨

But, don’t worry, it’s totally “for your safety”… if your idea of safety is living in a low-budget dystopian thriller.

And as you can imagine, this could be unconstitutional, so let’s talk about it.🧵
The White House calls them “safety measures.” In reality, FBI, DHS, and ICE agents are stopping people and running IDs + warrant checks, something the Supreme Court has already said can’t be done for “general crime control.”
Quick refresher:

✅ DUI checkpoints = allowed
✅ Border checkpoints = allowed
❌ Random ID or warrant sweeps in a city = not allowed

That’s been the law for decades.
