Watch "Something Very Suspicious Is Happening With Trump’s Plan in Gaza..." with @KhaledAbuToameh
In today's episode we discuss the Trump Peace plan in Gaza and why it can get more complicated than people think.
Until last year PA Mahmoud Abbas was still trying to make Peace with Hamas. The China Declaration or the Beijing Declaration included Fatah, Hamas and other Palestinian factions who met in China under the auspices of the Chinese Communist Party and signed a deal.
2)
A Palestinian reconciliation deal, a National Unity deal that allows Hamas to rule. This was 10 months after the Oct 7 attacks which shows Mahmoud Abbas has not ruled out the possibility of joining forces with Hamas, the day after the war.
3)
The deal includes the possibility of Hamas being the governing partner in the Palestinian territories including Gaza and the West Bank.
This will eventually leas to Hamas entering from the side door or the back door leading us back to October 6, 2023.

Sabine Sterk wrote on Thursday: "Yesterday Flyers were spread by Hamas between the People of Gaza...They contain a very revealing and dangerous message which is rooted in Islamic historical symbolism being twisted for propaganda purposes. 1)
⚠️ When Hamas refers to a “truce like the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah followed by a conquest like the conquest of Mecca,” it’s not talking about peace, it’s talking about strategy.
In Islamic history, Hudaybiyyah was a temporary truce that ended with conquest.
2)
When Hamas uses that phrase today, it openly signals that any ceasefire or negotiation is viewed only as a tactical pause, not a step toward coexistence.
This shows exactly why Hamas cannot be a partner for peace. They don’t seek compromise, only time.

"If the hostages are released, I will be very happy about that, but... Part One.
I am not happy at all about the plan proposal of what will come after that hostage release.

The following are what I expect, because everyone seems to look only at the first stages, but I know that Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, are thinking long term and planning long term and what they are planning, and I am sure they are, will destabilize the entire region.
2)
I don’t know if Hamas will release all the hostages or if they will continue to play their horrible game, but whether they do or not, my predictions remain the same—only the timing and the degree of violence in the immediate days will change.

International law, in the form of the Geneva Conventions I–V, is very clear on two important points.
Use of human shields – meaning firing from positions where civilians can be injured when there is retaliation, storage of munitions and military hardware among civilians,

in civilian homes, schools, hospitals, and religious institutions, is illegal, and any civilian deaths and casualties that result from the use of human shields are the total responsibility of the forces that created the situation.
