You’re losing hair quickly…

So you go to the mall and buy an anti-hair-loss serum or shampoo.

Here’s what they don’t tell you:

You’re chemically destroying your hair, scalp, and overall health.

To understand why your hair may be falling out, you first need to understand the hair growth cycle.

This cycle consists of four different stages:
• Anagen, where your hair is actively growing

• Catagen, where your hair stops growing

• Telogen, where your hair is in a “resting” state

• Exogen, where your hair sheds from the follicle to make way for regrowth Image
On average, you can expect to lose between 50 and 150 hairs daily.

(If that seems a lot, you have around 100,000 hair follicles on your head)

But there’s a difference between hair loss and hair shedding.
Hair shedding - dead hair falls out to make room for strands to grow

Hair loss - you lose hair and new strands don’t start to grow

Usually, hair shedding is a normal part of aging.

However, sudden hair loss is a sign that you’re doing something wrong.
Let’s start with shampoos:

If you look at the label of the shampoo in your bathroom, you’ll likely find 10-30 ingredients in it.
