๐Ÿงต Thread: You vs The Real You

What if the person you see in the mirrorโ€ฆ is only a shadow of who you truly are?
Letโ€™s go beyond the body and glimpse the infinite essence within you ๐Ÿ‘‡Image
1. You are not your thoughts.
Your thoughts are like clouds they pass.
You are the sky they move through.
When you stop identifying with your mind, you begin to see who you truly are.
2. You are not your emotions.
Anger, joy, sadness, love they come and go.
But the one who feels themโ€ฆ remains untouched.
That presence is the real you.
3. The โ€œYouโ€ the world sees is temporary.
It changes names, faces, jobs, beliefs.
But your true self is timeless
the consciousness silently watching it all unfold.
4. The real you existed before your story began.
Before your name, your memories, your fears
there was pure awareness.
That is your eternal identity.
5. Society teaches you to โ€œbe someone.โ€
But spirituality whispers:
Remember who you already are.
A fragment of the divine, pretending to be human.
6. Awakening is not becoming something new
Itโ€™s unlearning who you thought you were.
Peeling back layers of illusion until only truth remains.
7. The real you is infinite.
No labels. No limits.
When you connect to that inner light, fear disappears because light cannot fear darkness.
8. Meditation, silence, love - they donโ€™t create the real you.
They reveal it.
Like wiping dust off a mirror so your reflection shines again.
9. You are not in the universe.
The universe is in you.
Everything you seek outside already exists within your consciousness.
10. The journey of life is not about finding yourself.
Itโ€™s about remembering yourself.
You are the soul, not the story.
When you realize this:
The โ€œyouโ€ that worries, competes, fears, and doubts - dissolves.
And what remains is love, peace, and boundless light.
The real you canโ€™t be seen.
But once you feel it
nothing in this world can shake you again. You are not a human seeking spiritual experiences. You are a spirit experiencing being human.
