🚨BREAKING
Florida Rep. Cory Mills (a key Trump ally and sitting member of Congress) has been hit with a restraining order after a judge ruled he caused “substantial emotional distress” to his former girlfriend, Miss United States 2024 Lindsay Langston, and threatened to circulate sexually explicit videos of her.
1
Circuit Judge Fred Koberlein ordered Mills to refrain from trying to contact Lindsay Langston, Miss United States 2024 and a Republican state committee woman from Columbia County, Florida.
2
The judge wrote Langston has “reasonable cause to believe she is in imminent danger of becoming the victim of another act of dating violence” — in this case, cyberstalking, as defined by Florida statute — without the injunction.
3
A judge agreed that Mills messages weren’t misunderstandings or “drama.”
They were harassment. He’s now prohibited from contacting her or coming within 500 feet of her home or job until Jan 1.
4
Mills told the court he was not referring to sending others intimate videos of Langston, saying he had deleted them and that his iPhone was broken after receiving them.
He said he meant he would have sent a video of Langston baking with an apron in their kitchen to other potential suitors to demonstrate he was also seeing her at the same time.
5
The court said it did not find Mills testimony to be truthful, but also that the remarks were irrelevant, as Langston did not know the videos had been deleted and did not interpret it that way.
6
From a September court appearance.
Langston, from the stand, crying said, “Somebody please help me because I don’t know what to do and I’m scared.”
Langston, who is also a Republican State Committee Woman, broke down in tears multiple times while on the stand as she described her fear of Mills.
The couple started dating in November 2021, when she was 22 years old and Mills was 41, married and the father of a young child. However, he had been living separately from his wife since 2019.
The Judge also prohibited Mills to have any contact with Langston. And in a special provision written into the order, said Mills cannot refer to her on social media — including on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or TikTok.
Members of Congress aren’t automatically removed for personal misconduct (not even with restraining orders or criminal cases.)
There’s no HR department for Congress.
But there is an internal ethics system.
The House Committee on Ethics and the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) can investigate, subpoena witnesses, and recommend discipline for “conduct unbecoming a Member.”
One would hope Mills targeted harassment and potential for domestic violence should reach whatever threshold is required to trigger an investigation.
For context — Mills is up for re-election in 2026 for his House seat, and he’s already floated a Senate run to replace Marco Rubio.
This isnt Mills first brush with the law.
In February 2025, D.C. police opened an assault investigation involving Mills after an alleged altercation at his apartment.
He denied wrongdoing, and no charges were filed after the investigation concluded.

You don’t get to answer atrocity with atrocity.
October 7 was horrific.
So is the leveling of Gaza.
War crimes don’t cancel each other out — they multiply grief.
If your outrage depends on who’s dying, it isn’t morality.
The UN, Human Rights Watch, and Amnesty have all warned that collective punishment and mass civilian targeting violate international law. This is regardless of motive.
Over 70% of those killed in Gaza have been women and children. That’s not “defense.” That’s annihilation.
