Living off the grid has never looked better ✨
I met with Nick Rosen, author of “Off the Grid,” over a decade ago in London. He invited me to his flat and he and his lovely wife hosted me for a chat about what it really means to live off-grid.
Not just solar panels and composting toilets, but the idea of autonomy itself.
His work always came back to one question: how much control are we willing to hand over in exchange for convenience?

BREAKING:
Trump’s DOJ files new letter in U.S. v. Luigi Mangione
I’m covering this case closely so catch up and follow 🔥
Filed today, the DOJ informed Judge Garnett that the social media posts cited by the defense do not violate Rule 23.1, which restricts public comment by anyone associated with an active criminal case.
Their reasoning: those DOJ employees “aren’t associated” with this prosecution.

Did anyone even pay attention? 👀ICE quietly rolled out a hiring push for “Criminal Investigators” no college degree required, $50K in bonus and up to $100k salary.
Think about that.
The same agency overseeing mass surveillance and domestic policing now wants to fast-track armed federal agents with no higher education or experience? The as literally calls for “boldness.”
Pair that with AI, facial recognition, and politicized “threat” definitions…Americans are looking at the foundation of an unaccountable federal security force.
This isn’t about opportunity. It’s about control.

🚨 Speaker Mike Johnson just got into a heated, face-to-face argument with Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego over the Epstein Files and the government shutdown.
According to multiple Hill reporters, Gallego accused Johnson of blocking the swearing-in of Rep-elect Adelita Grijalva — the Arizona Democrat who’d be the 218th signature on the discharge petition to force a vote on releasing Jeffrey Epstein-related documents.

Gallego didn’t hold back.
He accused Johnson of trying to:
“cover up for pedophiles on the Epstein list, and number two, put his members in a really rough position when it comes to voting and extending these ACA tax credits.”

Some women mistake proximity to power for power itself.
A thread about the ones who weaponize that proximity — Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, and others who trade integrity for access. 🧵
There is a difference between wielding power and mirroring it, parroting it or being in the room with it.
Standing next to it might make you visible, but honey, it doesn’t make you powerful.

Pam Bondi should give a Ted Talk on how to make things worse.
She reminded me of a petulant and defiant teen.

The new Epstein flight data reveals one thing: I’m nowhere near finished.
Almost 5,000 flights. More names. More questions. And yes — I’m coming.

NEW
The Epstein flight network just got a lot bigger.
A new analysis by Zalingo Data Refinery uncovered 2,348 additional connections to Epstein’s island across 5,253 flight records (1995–2007) — bringing the total to nearly 5,000 flights linked to that island.
That’s not a few “bad actors.” That’s a system.
I’ve been covering this relentlessly so follow 🧵
The researchers found over 1,000 previously unknown flight routes connecting major financial hubs to private destinations.
This is the kind of routes that don’t show up in ordinary travel data.

Todd Blanche’s “interview” of Ghislaine Maxwell reads like he’s auditioning to direct a documentary about her life. And one told by her. 🙃
I’m gonna be so FFR with you guys: this interview is a joke.
Ghislaine Maxwell needs to be sent back to higher security prison immediately.
If you want to read the whole thing, I will link it in comments.
Or you can just scroll this thread for the highlights 🧵
Blanche opened the interview like he’s on a first date.
It’s soft-focus, first-person, “tell me about your childhood” fluff.

Separation of church and state violations are happening and being promoted by official government websites.
Even Christians can see it.
So don’t sit around silently.
Call it out when you see it—even if you believe in God and blessing others.
Don’t let them convince you church and state should not be separate.
The Establishment Clause exists because early Americans fled government-backed religion. They understood firsthand that faith loses meaning when it’s forced.

Since I’m already throttled for being a truth teller, screw it.
This is a thread about what people do when the government turns fascist. 🧵
First, the definition.
Not because I think you’re stupid, but because sometimes a government will try to convince you fascism is ok. It is not, and this is why:
Fascism is characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived interest of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

They want you bone tired, broke and hating each other so you never look up and see the real problem: them — the “elite.”
Top 10 richest people in the world are mostly tech bros, like Elon, sure—but dig deeper: Russian shadows in steel & shipping, Israeli heirs in retail empires.
They dodge sanctions, hide in shells, while 90% of us hold <30% of the pie.
It’s not “American Dream.” This is THEIR playground. They don’t care about you.

Just to be factual: Yesterday Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth repeatedly referred to the “War department” while addressing the U.S. military’s top brass.
The actual legal name of the agency is the Department of Defense — and has been since the National Security Act of 1947.
Trump did sign an Executive Order in September 2025 directing the Pentagon to “rebrand” as the Department of War in certain ceremonial and internal contexts.

BREAKING
Millions of federal workers in the U.S. will go without pay during a government shutdown that began at midnight.
But members of Congress (the very people who could prevent or end it) will still collect their pay checks.
Why?
Because Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution guarantees them a salary:
“The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States.”

As expected, Ghislaine Maxwell’s Supreme Court appeal is being handled behind closed doors today.
The DOJ has already urged the Court to reject her case.
At least 4 justices would have to vote yes for it to move forward, and a decision could come as early as this week.
The U.S. Supreme Court has begun discussion of which appeals to consider for the upcoming term. Among those they are considering is a petition from convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
