An attractive female pfp/name gets ten times as many profile clicks as a male one for the exact same posts. This leads to exponentially higher follower growth. I A/B tested it years ago. So yes, women have a simply massive social advantage online due to basic human dynamics.

If you're promoting information online, why would you handicap yourself by presenting a male account? It proves a lack of sincerity - you don't really care about reaching the public. If you did you would do it in the most effective and efficient way.

Is the public retarded? Does social media inherently create bad social dynamics? Is the sky blue?

I keep telling zoomers the battle of the sexes is largely a product of goofy online social dynamics and if they'd grown up without it they'd be less crazy/hateful about the opposite sex and better grounded in reality. But, they don't seem to believe me!

The only reason I revealed anything about my gender and identity is that I wanted my podcast to sound authentic, rather than using an AI filter and speaking artificially. With all the shadobanning, it was the last card I had to play to reach new people.
