Wellbefore quietly released adjustable head strap masks in several colors, here is a quick review!
I purchased these myself, not a sponsored post.
I purchased these in pink, green and khaki, they are also available in marble.
They have foam in the nose and the top and bottom straps adjust individually. The strap material is very soft and smooth, whether that is good or bad depends on your hair and your preferences.
The face shape feels similar to an Aura, but the adjustable head straps are great if the aura straps are a little big on you or loosen too much with time.
The front panel is not as stiff as the Aura, so they tend to scrunch pretty easily which I dislike.
I wore one of the Wellbefore masks for several hours last night, and this wasn’t really bothering me, like it wasn’t touching my mouth or face.
What did bother me last night was that the smooth straps slide down on my smooth hair, and after awhile this made my ears hurt.
The fit still felt fine, but one of the reasons I don’t do ear loops is because I don’t like the ear pain if it is tight enough to get a good fit.
I also found I need to be more careful when taking the mask off 😂 I did it one-handed in a hurry, and the adjustable rubber part of the bottom strap came flying off because I let it stretch out too much 🤦🏻♀️
These are tested to the KN95 standard, not the N95 standard. I am eager to see how they perform in independent testing.
These seem like a really great option for people who want head strap masks that coordinate with their outfits, or who have been having trouble finding a head strap mask that fits well.
For me personally, I’ll probably stick with the Makrite and Aura N95 masks as my go-to masks, but I’m thrilled to have this new option when I’m in the mood to care about how I look.
I hope @WellBeforeHQ releases these in black soon!
Link here, if this does not work, you go to the Wellbefore site ➡️ KN95 ➡️ 3D Pro ➡️ Then switch to the adjustable head strap model.
The case counts are primarily driven by the West Texas/NM outbreak, which accounts for 228 of the 250 cases.
This is the second largest outbreak in the US since 1992, if we count all of the cases among the NY/NJ Orthodox Jewish community in 2018-19 as one outbreak.
The last person to die from measles in the US was Catherine Montantes, a fully vaccinated 28-year-old who contracted measles at a doctor’s office
She was immunosuppressed due to treatment for dermatomyositis
Universal masking in healthcare likely would have prevented her death
Measles is a respiratory virus.
Measles is extremely contagious among the unvaccinated, but NPIs like masking, ventilation and filtration reduce the risk of spread.
The measles vaccine works really well for most people.
Last year only 4% of cases of measles in the US were in people who had two documented doses of MMR, and of those cases, most were in people who had a high level of exposure.
