Last week was special for Catholics in TN .There was flag hoisting in Velankanni Shrine in Nagapattinam and also in Besant Nagar Chennai.
A cousin sister of mine , single and diabetic, went from Chintadripet last Thursday (or Friday,I forget) evening to Besant Nagar by bus and did not return till next day noon.
She is about 60 and doesn't carry a mobile or a purse.The family became panicky , searched all around Besant Nagar Church and informed the priest and police too.
