Epstein in 2016 to billionaire Tom Barrack : “Send photos of you and child — make me smile.”
The House Oversight email drop is stomach-turning.
They all knew. And they still let him walk free.
Note: In March, Trump nominated the same Barrack to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Türkiye

Historical context: Tom Barrack, the billionaire real estate investor and close friend to Trump, was arrested in 2021 on federal charges of acting as an unregistered foreign agent for the United Arab Emirates.

Evidence in Epstein’s case included an itemized list of purchases that were gifts.
This included a $11,000 Rolex watch itemized in August 2003 as a gift for Tom Barrack.
Three years later, in May 2006, Barrack’s assistant sent an email to Epstein’s assistant requesting a time change to a scheduled meeting between Barrack and Epstein because of “something urgent” that had come up.
“Tom would be willing to meet him at his home or office, whatever works,” Barrack’s assistant wrote. Epstein suggested they meet at his home.
A representative for Barrack declined to comment about the meeting when asked by reporters, but said Barrack “has never received any gift ever from Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell, let alone a watch.”

Trump announced private equity executive Tom Barrack (his longtime ally who faced legal scrutiny for his work on behalf of the United Arab Emirates) as his pick to be the next U.S. ambassador to Turkey in a Truth Social post.
Trump said Barrack, a California billionaire, is “a well respected and experienced voice of reason to a wide range of thought leaders in both political and business circles.”
7
Barrack an Arabic speaker born to Lebanese parents who built deep relationships with Saudi officials and Gulf monarchies going back to the 1970s. He even allegedly helped open diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Haiti.

In 2021, the DOJ indicted Barrack for secretly lobbying the Trump campaign on behalf of the UAE, all while cutting massive business deals behind the scenes.
He was acquitted in 2022, but the overlap between politics and profit speaks.
Rep. Jamie Raskin just dropped a bombshell letter Sunday — accusing Trump’s circle of cutting a “potential exchange of favors” deal with convicted child sex trafficked and Jeffrey Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell.
A thread because no I won’t shut up about it 🧵
2
Raskin calls out the two day “interview” that Todd Blanche (Pam Bondi’s former deputy and one of Trump’s defense lawyers) conducted with Maxwell over two days in July at her Texas prison.
The alleged outcome: a “deal for false testimony exonerating Trump and other Epstein accomplices.”
3
Maxwell, serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking of minors, provided recorded testimony clearing Trump of wrongdoing amid renewed scrutiny of his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
Raskin’s letter calls it “a flagrant violation of Bureau of Prisons policy.”
This is just a portion of the transcript where Maxwell sings Trump’s praises
A message allegedly from Maxwell’s circle says “club fed” is just a short stay— and that her deal includes next stop as “home confinement” and then probation.
All of this while she drafts a request for commutation or pardon.

Convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is writing home about how “happy,” “safe,” and “comfortable” she is in her cushy federal prison camp or a so-called “Club Fed.”
Meanwhile, the girls she helped abuse are still living (and dying) from the trauma.
A thread 🧵 🔥

2/ Carolyn Andriano was 14 when she was recruited into Maxwell and Epstein’s trafficking.
She testified in 2021 at Maxwell’s trial, that she had been addicted to "pain pills and cocaine" and that she had taken them "to block out" Epstein's sexual abuse.
She died in 2019, reportedly from a drug overdose.
3/ Skye Patrick was 16 when she was first trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. She struggled with addiction and trauma from the abuse.
She died in 2017 reportedly from a drug overdose.
Survivors provided names of men and women who abused them or enabled their trafficking and abuse, in depositions, lawsuits, interviews, books, and in court.
They spoke.
They testified.
They told the world.
Two accused died of “suicide” in prison.
At least three known victims have died of drug overdoses or suicide.
And somehow, the question people keep asking is:
“Why won’t the survivors release the list?” when the real question should be:
“Why has nothing been done to the people already named?”
Power heard them.
Power ignored them.
Instead of being protected, Virginia Giuffre was sued by at least one of the powerful men she named.
Dershowitz and Giuffre were locked in litigation for years that ended in no money exchanged and she issued a statement saying she may have misidentified him.
The accused didn’t face investigation.
They hired elite PR firms and legal teams and went after survivors. Not the pedophiles, the traffickers, not the abusers.
I’m sure the troll farms will soon be all over this thread and I may have to limit comments but I’ll try to leave it open as long as I can for discussion.
🚨 BREAKING: State lawmakers in New Mexico are pushing to create a “truth commission” to investigate alleged crimes at Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch —nearly seven years after Jeffrey Epstein’s death and despite the property having been sold.
🧵 1
The ranch (a sprawling, remote estate once owned by Epstein in Santa Fe County) was sold in 2023 by his estate as part of a “fire sale.”
2
Lawmakers, led by Rep. Andrea Romero (D-Santa Fe), say survivors signalled abuse and trafficking activity at the ranch and that the state still lacks a full record of “what occurred or how officials responded.”
🚨UPDATE
A federal judge in the James Comey case said newly-appointed prosecutor Lindsey Halligan must turn over a full transcript of grand jury indictment proceedings, including her own statements.
1
This comes after Comey moved to dismiss the case, arguing selective/vindictive prosecution and claiming the prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, was unlawfully appointed.
2
James Comey was indicted in late September on charges of making false statements and obstructing a congressional proceeding. He has pleaded not guilty.
His legal team argues the case is political retaliation from President Donald Trump.
Comey’s team argues Halligan, a former personal Trump attorney, was improperly installed as interim U.S. Attorney after Erik Siebert resigned under White House pressure and therefore the indictment is invalid.
