Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "Lessons to be learned and understood

A number of posts in Facebook and Twitter talk about how Israel tried to be the nice guy, leaving Gaza in 2005. Fewer talk about why this was a horrible mistake that needs to be a lesson for the future.
1)
Yes, in 2005-6, Israel withdrew both Jewish residents and IDF troops from Gaza. Farms, homes, businesses were left behind, most to be destroyed by the Arabs who did not seem interested in keeping farms and businesses, and it was all done with a guarantee from the USA and UK.
2)
The promise? If the experiment of local rule in Gaza worked, it could be a model for the “2-state solution”, but if it failed, no one would ever suggest the 2-state solution again.

First of all, the clearest lesson is that the US, UK, and EU lied.
3)
The Gaza experiment clearly failed, yet these nations still talk about a 2-state solution, that now has proven to be a failed concept. Proof that they do not care about whether Israel survives as much as pacifying Muslims.
4)
But for Israel and the Jewish People other lessons need to be learned.

A. That it is a terrible mistake to remove Jews from any part of Eretz Yisrael in some effort to appease.
5)
Note that compensation for these Jews uprooted from places they built and developed never came or was insufficient. They were cheated. And the withdrawal of Jews undermined Jewish rights in all the area, giving the wrong impression that peace had to mean removal of Jews.
6)
B. That the State of Israel and the Jewish People cannot trust other nations to keep their commitments. Not then. Not now.

C. That perhaps Israel’s greatest enemy is not external. Perhaps it is those Jews who have not grown past the very problematic Jewish Ghetto psychology,
7)
a syndrome similar to the Stockholm syndrome on a deeper level, that pushes them to repeat the behaviors that helped Jews survive when as small helpless minority being persecuted.
8)
Safety meant doing what was necessary to appease, to be desperate for the smiles of the powerful, to appear to be the nice guys all the time, so as not to be seen as “the other,” which guaranteed persecution and worse.
9)
D. It is time to stop trying to be accepted to buy safety, and to state the facts.

The facts are that Hamas evicted from Gaza solves nothing. That Hamas expresses the opinion of the majority of Palestine Arabs, not some small group, and
10)
that if out of Gaza, they will explode in power in Judea and Samaria, and they will be ready to do another October 7 in 2028 when the Americans and others are obsessed with election campaigns, and
11)
the repeat will hit the center of Israel from Tulkarem and Qalqilia, and the death toll will be astronomical.

The fact is that there will never be co-existence and peace with people who worship death and martyrdom and
12)
are convinced that if they keep up terrorism Christian/Secular Europe, with its ingrained cultural antisemitism, will eventually end the State of Israel and the Jews will be gone.
13)
So what is the obvious policy to pursue? Do not be afraid to say it. You know deep down beneath that Ghetto mentality what the truth is. You know deep down that really Kahane was right and the whole of Jewish patrimony must be cleared of an existential threat,
14)
just as Torah said about Amaleq, but with removal rather than violence.

And that an understanding come about in Israel and among Jews internationally (and among non-Muslims also worldwide) that as long as Islam is militant,
15)
as long as it excuses terrorism, kidnapping, rape and murder, one cannot expect to live in peace with it, and pandering to it simply emboldens it."

Roger Froikin wrote, "Reparations for Past Wrongs?

We hear today that California and other states and a number of cities are passing laws and resolutions about reparations for African Americans because of the history of slavery and discrimination.
1)
Of course, they seem not to have been too concerned with defining who should get reparations.

What happens with all these laws and intentions, I cannot predict, but it seems to me that there is another people that deserves reparations as well.

The Jewish People.
2)
Reparations for 2000 years of persecution, discrimination, deprivation, expulsions, engineered by the Vatican and by other Christian denominations, and by governments, and by communists and socialists, and today by the left in the USA, Europe, and Australia.

Florence Habee wrote, "Years ago, Trump and Epstein were friends and Trump said they both like younger women which trump meant like Melania's age. NOT minors. Epstein went to Mar-a-Lago as a friend to Trump to visit.
1)
He had a massage, the girl who did his massage reported him to the manager as not being a gentleman and the manager reported him to Trump and Trump threw him out of Mar-a-Lago and refused any contact with Epstein again.
2)
Now, some Democrats in Congress released what they say are some of Epstein files where Epstein does not accuse Trump but says that Trump knew about Epstein's desire for young girls. Is Epstein lying? Because Trump never went for that age girls and

This "America First" woke right is like the left. Oprah spoke of "my truth". There is no "my truth". There is the truth. The truth is not subjective. It is objective. President Trump defined his America First policy to not be America Only.

He's reset trade & is working towards peace in the Middle East by expanding the Abraham Accords. He wants to end the endless wars.

Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation lacks the moral compass that William F Buckley did when he said that there is no place in the Conservative movement for antisemitism and must resign.
1) Image

He has done tremendous damage by embroiling the Heritage Foundation in this scandal. In a 1990 interview, Buckley reportedly said his “greatest achievement” was “the absolute exclusion of anything anti-Semitic or kooky from the conservative movement.
2)
Also, in his 1991 essay “In Search of Anti-Semitism” he wrote about Buchanan:

“I find it impossible to defend Pat Buchanan against the charge that what he did and said during the period under examination amounted to anti-Semitism,

Parshat Vayera
Genesis 18:1–22:24

This Parsha is unique in that it deals with three separate issues.

The first has Abraham circumcising himself despite his advanced age, and the arrival of three visitors for whom Abraham, even in his weakened state, provides first-class hospitality. These visitors tell Abraham that his wife Sara will have a son.
2)
The deeper story? Abraham started a custom, rare at the time, of circumcision. In an era when many peoples sacrificed children to appease their gods into bringing them health, crops, and a good hunt,

@CollinRugg Tucker Carlson is out of his depth when it comes to where the principles of Western civilization are found as well as American history. How he and others get so much wrong? Tucker Carlson graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1991 with a B.A. in history.
1)
@CollinRugg Did he attend class or was he still using back then? Idk. I'm just asking the question.

Our criminal justice system is based upon Jewish Biblical law. Further, this is not an exhaustive list of principles we take for granted that come from the G-d of the Jewish people.
2)
@CollinRugg Here’s a list of key rights in American criminal law that trace intellectual or ethical roots to the Torah, what the Christian world calls the "Old Testament":

⚖️ 1. Presumption of Innocence / Proof Before Punishment
