We hear today that California and other states and a number of cities are passing laws and resolutions about reparations for African Americans because of the history of slavery and discrimination.
1)
Of course, they seem not to have been too concerned with defining who should get reparations.
What happens with all these laws and intentions, I cannot predict, but it seems to me that there is another people that deserves reparations as well.
The Jewish People.
2)
Reparations for 2000 years of persecution, discrimination, deprivation, expulsions, engineered by the Vatican and by other Christian denominations, and by governments, and by communists and socialists, and today by the left in the USA, Europe, and Australia.
3)
And, reparations from Muslim nations that practiced discrimination, periodic terror against Jews, and finally theft of Jewish properties and belongings and expulsion of Jewish populations.
4)
I would guess that reparations of somewhere around $20 trillion dollars would be fair and just.
No, I do not have a specific list of losses for persecution in Europe. But the story is well known, and the persecutions well documented and

at the time were direct results of religious doctrine as taught by the churches, particularly the Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church, but not exclusive to them.
For Jews from Arab and Muslim nations, a more accurate estimate can be made, especially after World War II.
6)
But as I see it, no people has more of a claim for reparations than does the Jewish people.
Take one example: in the discussion of reparations for Palestinians, I would favor reparations for Palestinian refugees and for all the Jews who lost everything in Muslim lands.
7)
So, let’s look closely at the facts.
Arabs who left what became Israel in 1948 have been estimated to number 475,000, the vast majority tenant farmers, workers, living in homes that they rented.
8)
Yes, they all show keys, but I also have keys from three apartments I rented, but that did not make them my property.
Total value of property abandoned by Arabs in 1948 comes to about $100 million if one figures generously.
9)
Jews who left Arab nations numbered about 1.2 million, 800,000 who were absorbed in Israel, another 400,000 that went to France, and North and South America and other areas. Jews were mostly urban dwellers who left behind properties and businesses they actually owned.
10)
Many of those properties are today in the most valued parts of Alexandria, Damascus, Baghdad, and many other cities. Estimated value that should be part of a reparation program: somewhere around $2 trillion dollars.
11)
So, let’s get started — at least on reparations for the period since 1948 in one area of the world."

A number of posts in Facebook and Twitter talk about how Israel tried to be the nice guy, leaving Gaza in 2005. Fewer talk about why this was a horrible mistake that needs to be a lesson for the future.
1)
Yes, in 2005-6, Israel withdrew both Jewish residents and IDF troops from Gaza. Farms, homes, businesses were left behind, most to be destroyed by the Arabs who did not seem interested in keeping farms and businesses, and it was all done with a guarantee from the USA and UK.
2)
The promise? If the experiment of local rule in Gaza worked, it could be a model for the “2-state solution”, but if it failed, no one would ever suggest the 2-state solution again.
First of all, the clearest lesson is that the US, UK, and EU lied.

1)
He had a massage, the girl who did his massage reported him to the manager as not being a gentleman and the manager reported him to Trump and Trump threw him out of Mar-a-Lago and refused any contact with Epstein again.
2)
Now, some Democrats in Congress released what they say are some of Epstein files where Epstein does not accuse Trump but says that Trump knew about Epstein's desire for young girls. Is Epstein lying? Because Trump never went for that age girls and

This "America First" woke right is like the left. Oprah spoke of "my truth". There is no "my truth". There is the truth. The truth is not subjective. It is objective. President Trump defined his America First policy to not be America Only. 1)
He's reset trade & is working towards peace in the Middle East by expanding the Abraham Accords. He wants to end the endless wars.

Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation lacks the moral compass that William F Buckley did when he said that there is no place in the Conservative movement for antisemitism and must resign. 1)
He has done tremendous damage by embroiling the Heritage Foundation in this scandal. In a 1990 interview, Buckley reportedly said his “greatest achievement” was “the absolute exclusion of anything anti-Semitic or kooky from the conservative movement.
2)
Also, in his 1991 essay “In Search of Anti-Semitism” he wrote about Buchanan:
“I find it impossible to defend Pat Buchanan against the charge that what he did and said during the period under examination amounted to anti-Semitism,

This Parsha is unique in that it deals with three separate issues. 1)
The first has Abraham circumcising himself despite his advanced age, and the arrival of three visitors for whom Abraham, even in his weakened state, provides first-class hospitality. These visitors tell Abraham that his wife Sara will have a son.
2)
The deeper story? Abraham started a custom, rare at the time, of circumcision. In an era when many peoples sacrificed children to appease their gods into bringing them health, crops, and a good hunt,

@CollinRugg Tucker Carlson is out of his depth when it comes to where the principles of Western civilization are found as well as American history. How he and others get so much wrong? Tucker Carlson graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1991 with a B.A. in history.

@CollinRugg Did he attend class or was he still using back then? Idk. I'm just asking the question.
Our criminal justice system is based upon Jewish Biblical law. Further, this is not an exhaustive list of principles we take for granted that come from the G-d of the Jewish people.

@CollinRugg Here’s a list of key rights in American criminal law that trace intellectual or ethical roots to the Torah, what the Christian world calls the "Old Testament":
