Before I Formed Thee! 🧵

Everything we were meant to be was in the heart of God from the very beginning! Think about that if you can wrap your mind around it!
The Word of God through Jeremiah tells us that before God even formed us in our Mother’s womb, He knew us, and had plans for our lives!
Jeremiah 1:4-5
Then the Word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
David also speaks about God knowing us, and seeing us even before we were formed! There is no difference in God’s eyes between a child at conception, or at full term — they are both precious lives meant to be lived to fulfill God’s purpose!
Psalm 139:13-18
For Thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from Thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with Thee.
Paul speaks about God choosing us even before the foundation of the world!

Ephesians 1:4
According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.
This is why the murder of innocent lives in the womb should be so repugnant and unacceptable to every God fearing person!
Everything God planned for each child was known — but many lives have been snuffed out in the name of convenience, or inconvenience, and choice, and the people of God stand by silent in the name of tolerance! It should not be so!
What does God say about life and death? His Word is — Choose life!

Deuteronomy 30:19-20
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto Him: for He is thy life, and the length of thy days:
That thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
When we speak of such matters to Christians, we should be ‘preaching to the choir’ as the saying goes, but our words fall mainly on deaf ears — ears that have become dull, compromised and conformed to the thinking of the world — not to the Words of our LORD!
We are warned not to be conformed to the world, to love it, or to even be friends with it! We are warned to run away from even the appearance of evil, but instead we have been conformed, we do love it, and we have made friends with it!
Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Thessalonians 5:22
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
1 John 2:15-18
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
The people of God expect His continued blessing, victory, and protection from their enemies even as they turn away from His Word! This is what He would say about that!
Numbers 14:42-45
Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.
But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp. Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.
Isaiah 59:12-16
For our transgressions are multiplied before Thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey:
And the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no judgment. And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore His Arm brought salvation unto Him; and His righteousness, it sustained Him.
May the LORD burden us with this travesty! May our hearts be broken over what breaks His heart, and be turned back to Him!
Father, forgive Your people, turn them back to Your Word, that they might reverence Your Word over the Words of men. Conform us to Your image, give us Your heart and mind in Jesus Name!
2 Chronicles 7:14-15
If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Now Mine eyes shall be open, and Mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Peace and Safety!

“Trump seals historic peace treaty in the Middle East in what he says hasn’t happened in 3000 years.”

“We’ve heard it for many years, but nobody thought it could ever get there. And now we’re there.”

Peace and Safety — What does the Word of God say?

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the LORD so cometh as a thief in the night.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Are You Alone On An Isle Of Patmos?

Where do you find yourself today? When John was given the Revelation of Jesus Christ he was alone, exiled on an island for speaking the Word of Christ, and testifying of Him!
Revelation 1:9
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the Word of God, and for the Testimony of Jesus Christ.
When we are willing to be obedient to the LORD, we too will often find ourselves isolated as outcasts! Isn’t that what Jesus Himself experienced and told us would happen to those who would follow Him?

Be Careful that the Light in you is not Darkness! 🧵

Luke 11:35
Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
Do you belong to His church? Are you among the few who are on the narrow path to heaven?

Matthew 7:13
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.
If you died today, would you go to heaven? If you stood before God and He asked why He should let you into heaven, what would you say?

Now the serpent was more subtle… 🧵

Lord, Keep our eyes fixed on You, keep our hearts fixed on You. Though we walk through life surrounded by snakes, and by wolves in sheep clothing, help us to have Your discernment, and not to fear.
Thank You that even if a viper attaches itself to us, we like Paul will shake it off, and suffer no harm. That people may marvel at Your great power to Your children.
You said when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, when we pass through the waters, and the fires, You will protect us. You will keep us from the day of trouble. You hold our hand. You say unto us, fear ye not! Thank You LORD!

Setting Our Will To His — Overcoming Despar!

Sometimes we don’t ‘feel’ like moving forward. Sometimes it ‘feels’ like our lives will always be ruled by our past, or the consequences of our sins.
Sometimes we may ‘feel’ distraught by what ‘feels’ like an endless cycle of hope and despair.

In these times of hopelessness and despair, we must remember that faith is not a ‘feeling’!

Faith is believing in the faithfulness of the LORD and His Word!
The Word tells us that faith supersedes ‘feeling’! Faith believes even when we don’t see or ‘feel’hope!

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Don’t Shrink Back!

Did you begin your journey with the LORD with zeal and determination to follow Him always, to obey His Word, to love and serve Him with all your heart?
Where are you today? Have you shrunk back from that? Are you continuing to stand up and stand strong against evil, or have you fallen back into it?
Do you speak out about the immoral practices in our world? Things like abortion, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, and others sins, or have you like some accepted these, or even practice them?
