If you haven’t been paying attention, the entire Mamdani transition team is a list of some of the most anti-Israel and antisemitic people around. So, let’s go right into it. These are some names from the committee on community organizing.
Sherif Ahmed is the executive director of MAS NY. MAS has been linked to the Muslim Brotherhood as an American branch. It is so linked that the UAE has banned MAS and declared it a terror org. Here they are praising Mr. FAFO.
Gianpaolo Baiocchi is a professor of sociology and individualized studies at NYU. On October 26, 2023, he signed this letter condemning Israel for their response to Hamas. israel-academia-monitor.com/2023/10/26/int…
Lumumba Bandele is the director of Malcolm X Grassroots. Here is what he had to say on October 7, 2023, while Hamas was savagely murdering, raping and kidnapping Israelis.
Catie Fireman is from the Astoria Food Pantry who hosts events like these quite regularly:
Jasmine Gripper is co-director of the NY Working Families Party. The WFP actively blames Israel for everything. Furthermore, the NY chapter in particular supported the “Not on Our Dime” bill which looked to block NYS nonprofits from supporting Israel. nypost.com/2024/07/26/us-…
Sumathy Kumar of Tenant Bloc is a card carrying DSA member. She was also one of the co-chairs of the DSA NYC chapter. She refused to say whether Israel has a right to exist.
Aji Fanta Marenah of the Muslim Democratic Club of NY, has no condemnation of Hamas nor concern for the Israelis taken hostage or killed. Unsurprisingly, she was calling Gaza a genocide in October 2023.
Asher Ross is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, who, like Kumar above, does not believe Israel has a right to exist.
Wanda Salaman of Mothers on the Move has had a special place in her heart for those who hate in Israel. In fact, in 2016, she welcomed Hugo Chavez’s Foreign Minister, Delcy Rodriguez, to the Bronx. His first complaint? Israel got foreign aid. workers.org/2016/09/27144/…
Waleed Shahid, Strategist and Organizer is a flagrant antisemite
Mamdani’s Transition team for the Committee on Immigrant Justice is the ultimate list of antisemites and those who hate Israel.
Fahd Ahmed is the director of DRUM Beats. DRUM Beats often co-hosts events with The People’s Forum against Israel. They even went door knocking for Jamaal Bowman because of his stance on Palestine.
Farihah Akhtar is from the nonprofit CAAAV. Here they are marching with Within Our Lifetime on October 20, 2023.
Cash and Voucher Assistance programs in Gaza ultimately are what funds Hamas and other terror organizations including the Houthis. The cash is given to Gazans buy Hamas stolen aid like food and water. Here is a list of CVAs in Gaza:
UNICEF: The UNICEF program gives $200/month to families with an additional $100 for pregnant women and $66 for a disabled child. It is an e-wallet payment. This assistance helps 890,000 people.

🧵 The post World War II order has failed. It was believed that a universal moralism would prevail led by a global body and international organizations. It has failed due to the way Israel, singularly has been demonized. This is a story of corruption, ignorance, and antisemitism.
The belief was that these bodies would eventually become a beacon of hope in the prevention of another World War. However, within three generations, both the UN and international NGOs have become weapons used against the west where one side is forced to abide by the rules…
they set, and the other hides behind these bodies. The west has educated its youth on the belief that these bodies are the ultimate perfection to prevent war and to create universal morality. But how can that be so when states who have neither universal human rights nor laws
We have to talk about what’s happening to the Jews in Canada. As bad as antisemitism is everywhere, a special reluctance to tackle it is happening across the country. 🧵
The scenes we are seeing today across the country are shocking. In the Toronto area, the Palestinian protesters have even gone so far to gather in Jewish neighborhoods, harass the citizens, all while wearing red triangle armbands.
Antisemitism in Canada did not start on October 7th. For example, Concordia University in Montreal was given the monicker Gaza U over 20 years ago where bullying Jewish students mixed with administrative apathy led many Jews to look away from attending. jcpa.org/article/anti-i…
The Jewish diaspora is approximately 25 years behind the pro-Palestine/anti-Israel movement. Many are trying to figure out how this happened both within Jewish advocacy groups. (See thread below). However, let’s focus on how to fight back. 🧵
25 years is a long time to play catchup. We first have to recognize that we are too decentralized as a people. Our comfort in the diaspora (predominantly West Europe and North America), led to many different organizations and groups being created.
The small variations on messaging became big differences in how to view everything from diaspora religious life, to Israel, to diaspora politics. There is no centrality to this messaging or leadership. We have created small fiefdoms of thought and power, and diluted ourselves.
The years of brainwashing activists to think that every issue comes back to Israel being the problem is remarkable. It is one of the brilliant hallmarks of SJP founder Hatem Bazian. His plan was to build alliances to make Palestine the front and center issue everywhere.
From antiwar movements to climate justice, BLM to the women’s march, somehow Palestine became the topic. That no progressive seems to understand that they have been duped is a different story. It’s much easier to blame the same bad actor for everything, after all.
Further, the utilization of NGOs and the UN, groups these same people find flawless merit in, to bolster the case was brilliant. For example, did you know that the UN blamed Palestinian domestic violence on Israel? Yup. Palestinian men beat their wives because of Israel.
