The years of brainwashing activists to think that every issue comes back to Israel being the problem is remarkable. It is one of the brilliant hallmarks of SJP founder Hatem Bazian. His plan was to build alliances to make Palestine the front and center issue everywhere. From antiwar movements to climate justice, BLM to the women’s march, somehow Palestine became the topic. That no progressive seems to understand that they have been duped is a different story. It’s much easier to blame the same bad actor for everything, after all.

Well Muslim Brotherhood, I tip my hat. Game well played. You took the long view and slowly crept up and became modern progressive discourse. You did your research and knew where to start, chose an infectious and vibrant man to lead it, and you have isolated Israel and the Jews. You started in the Bay Area focusing on San Francisco and Berkeley because that is the center of American progressivism, tolerance and acceptance. Also where money could be dumped into and repurposed as Silicon Valley was beginning to bubble.

Jewish leadership over the last 25 years needs to apologize, unabashedly, and stop telling us how to proceed. You failed us, you no longer get to make decisions. 🧵 For 25 years, even when it was being screamed at their faces, shown to them time and time again, the leadership pretended to see nothing, they pretended to hear nothing, and of course they did nothing. However, they still sent email blasts telling you to donate.

If you are confused as to why campuses are exploding, it is the work of one man, Hatem Bazian. Bazian is responsible for making every issue about I/P and created SJP. In the late eighties, Bazian became the president of the National People of Color Student Coalition. Within this role, he got the US Student Association to pass resolutions in 1991 demanding the US cut aid to Israel. Jewish students at his home campus, SFSU, reported exponential growth in antisemitism. He used his position to advocate for racial solidarity for the Palestinians.

Mehdi is an antisemite. However, let’s discuss why Jews feel safer in Israel, and also why applications to make Aliyah have never been higher. 🧵 Jews in the diaspora are seeing the absolute failures of liberalism turned progressivism. Jews, who championed the causes of universal human rights for years in the wake of the Holocaust/Shoah are seeing that they apparently apply for all except for the Jews.

It makes sense that the first American pogrom will be mobilized from the grounds of an Ivy League school. After all, the most ardent Nazis started in 1926 under the Nazi Student League. 🧵 Dress: Nazi Student League students dressed in a uniform that made them stand out. They were known as the brown shirts. Here, these students have adopted the keffiyah. The keffiyah itself is not in dispute, how it is being used by students is.

The @UNRWA and @ICRC connection is deeper than I first thought. Top officials over the last 10 years get placements going back and forth between the two organizations and their affiliates. This explains why the ICRC has done nothing for hostages 🧵 Staff:

ICRC President: Mirjana Spoljaric Egger @ICRCPresident.

Hired in October 2022 as President, she was second in charge of UNRWA from 2010-12. Image

We are entering a very scary next phase for Jews irrespective of if they live in Israel or in the diaspora. The threats to both are real, existential, different yet interwoven. Paramount to all is the security of the state and the end of Hamas’ rule in Gaza. 🧵 Let’s start with Israel:

Israel is facing existential threats by Iranian backed terrorist organizations. Israel will win the first phase of this war which is uprooting the Hamas governance of the Strip. That’s not in doubt.

There is a lot written about the Palestinians and the fact that they will never be able to move on from this. “How will they ever make peace?” is often the refrain. It’s as if they don’t know recent Jewish history (then again, supposedly 20% of Gen Z doesn’t). Small 🧵 The Jewish population in 1933 globally was 15.3M. 6M were systematically killed over the next 12 years, approximately 40%. Before then, Jews sought refuge around the world, waiting on boats while nation after nation denied entry to refugees who were being dehumanized by the Nazis

Since we are 50 days into this war, let’s review the response by the UN and it’s agencies to Hamas.

🧵 Let’s start with the agency devoted to the Palestinians with over 30,000 employees: United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. @UNRWA

Budget: $1,600,000,000

First time they ever mentioned Hamas? October 30.

Condemnation? No.

Only mention of Hamas: Image

A thread of US Congresspersons who eventually condemned Hamas, how long it took, or if they didn’t.

🧵 Representative Jamaal Bowman @RepBowman @JamaalBowmanNY

Representative Bowman did not officially condemn Hamas until 10/26. He did find time to condemn Jewish Americans calling for genocide on 10/10 and rightfully condemned the murder of Wadea Al-Fayoume immediately on 10/15

A data set of UN agencies and international organizations, NGOs, human rights groups, et al, who even acknowledged Hamas’ existence before and after October 7th on Twitter/X United Nations: @UN

Last mention, almost 12 years to the date before October 7th. 12 years later, Hamas is condemned by name.

Let’s look at some of the ironic statements about Al-Shifa Hospital from the World Health Organization: @WHO

Probably the most telling statement was released 2 days ago. They finally admitted that MAYBE Hamas is in Al-Shifa.
Image The irony to this claim is that international law, (whatever that means since let’s be honest, there is no application of international law to all parties), makes it quite clear that a hospital, when used as a military facility, loses their protection. . nytimes.com/2023/11/16/wor…

Here is a list of international community leaders. It referenced if they condemned Hamas for October 7th, how long before they publicly condemned Hamas, or called on Israeli hostages to be released

🧵 UNICEF chief: Catherine Russell @unicefchief

0 condemnation of Hamas, 1 month call to release hostages. Her mandate is children.

There is no group more privileged who thinks they speak for all Jews than American Jews on the left. Hi guys, you don’t know what you’re talking about. If you think that living in your Brooklyn apartment is the same as living in a kibbutz next to Gaza, then there’s nothing to say You lack any political or military understanding of this issue nor know what to say when challenged about the words you’re using. You say, “As a Jew” and yet, don’t know the experiences of the 2/3rds of Jews who don’t live on the US.

🧵1/ We are about to see the fiercest escalation of violence since the car ramming and stabbing attacks of 2015/16. The factors that have lead us here are numerous and it is important to have the entire picture rather than focusing on individual events. 2/ Much of this starts at the source of the problem: Iran. See how it has faded out of the news? Know why? Because they tell their terrorist entities, like Hamas, to start a conflict with Israel. Whenever Iran is in trouble, it directs Hezbollah, Hamas or PIJ to start something.

Let’s discuss the history of Zionism for a minute. Progressives like to think that Herzl magically, out of nowhere, came up with an idea that would displace Arabs who apparently lived there with no one else around for centuries. Well, let’s dispel that idea: 🧵 Zionism started in 538 BCE by the Rivers of Babylon, and in 165 BCE as we started the Hasmonean Kingdom, in the Kitos War when we sought to overthrow Rome, in 351 as we revolted against Gallus, in 361 when Julian said we could rebuild the Temple but he was killed…

Since everyone wants to go off on Israel for Shireen Abu Akleh’s accidental death, here is a list of Americans intentionally killed by Palestinian terrorists. A reminder, US aid money goes to the Palestinians who give it to the family of the terrorists in Pay to Slay:

🧵 1970s: Barbara Ertle, David Berger, Elbert Kersen, Jeannie Salandi, Jeremiah Michel, Kathrine Michel, Fredrick Hare, Margaret Hare, Ralph Bosh, Seldon Bard, Etan Bard, Fredrick Stohlman, Don Holiday, Jon Chesire, Michael Nadler, Harold Rosenthal, Frances Meloy, Robert Waring

Daniel Pearl and Shireen Abu Aqleh were both journalists. Daniel was kidnapped and executed for being a Jew in Pakistan. Shireen was killed in the middle of a firefight after reporting for 25 years. Daniel’s killers were set free by Pakistan, there were no protests… Shireen’s killer is unknown. Israel has offered a joint investigation and admits she might have been killed by an Israeli bullet in the fight. The whole world is up in arms. These were both journalists killed reporting from war zones who died in very different circumstances

A year ago I put this thread together on the waning power of Abbas and the PA in the wake of Hamas shooting thousands of rockets at Israel. Well, Abbas’ weaknesses are now readily available to see and a civil war is about to take part in the West Bank. ynetnews.com/article/bkxl0w… Abbas has been hand picking his successors as a means to keep the embezzlement pipelines open, namely for his family. He effectively has turned the PA into an oligarchy and the Palestinians are furious. They’re struggling not due to Israel but internal Pal. budgeting.

So to summarize the last 5 days for America’s Jews:
- A Jewish mayoral candidate in Kentucky had an attempted assassination against him and BLM bailed out the highly antisemitic shooter
- Graffiti with “F*** Jews” with an arrow pointing to the JCC found on the UWS of NYC - Graffiti also saying “F*** Jews” found in Queens
- A Jewish student was made to apologize to his teacher and school for whistleblowing a teacher who was doing Nazi salutes with students
- A Jewish man was punched in the face in NYC - this happens daily
- Swastikas on buses NYC
