The 4th @Columbia Task Force Report on Antisemitism just dropped and the findings are INSANE.
Students were scapegoated, stereotyped, denied access to class, and had their privacy violated, all by remorseless faculty, who made no effort to hide their bias. Buckle up 🧵👇 1/6
Israeli students @Columbia were called out in class by faculty as occupiers and murderers.
Jewish students were personally degraded as faculty turned the classroom into a kangaroo court, putting Israeli students in particular on trial for their identity in front of their peers. 2/6
Faculty also used tropes to attack Jewish donors as "laundering blood money" and portray Jews as part of a system of "white supremacy, patriarchy and capitalism."
@Columbia not only tolerated antisemitism, it hired and platformed faculty who masked it in academic jargon. 3/6
A @Columbia faculty member READ A CONFIDENTIAL STUDENT EMAIL aloud in class. This is not only a grotesque violation of student privacy, it breaks all student-teacher trust.
He weaponized the power imbalance of the classroom to punish dissent and silence Jewish students. 4/6
Faculty also promoted antisemitic encampments; some moved classes there knowing "Zionists were not welcome."
The message: if you're Jewish or Israeli, your access to equal education at @Columbia is conditional—on your silence, your politics, and your willingness to be excluded. 5/6
We wish we could say @Columbia has moved past this. But the recent promotions of MULTIPLE faculty members involved in exactly some of the egregious incidents tell us otherwise. Columbia just got an F grade from @StopAntisemites. They deserve it.

Over the past 24 hours, CUAD’s utterly despicable “death to America” post went viral.
@Columbia's PR team is framing this as a branding problem. It isn’t. It’s a FACULTY problem. Here’s why:🧵👇1/5
Faculty & Staff for Justice in Palestine (FSJP_CBT) publicly aligned with CUAD from Day 1. They shared messaging and tactics, and collaborated on campaigns.
After SJP was banned for hosting a webinar with CUAD, Samidoun, and WOL, @Columbia faculty told @ColumbiaSpec they created FSJP to continue SJP’s work.
@CC_Columbia Profs Howley, Ahmed and Elshakry are all quoted. And their first major poster campaign was coordinated with CUAD. 2/5
Now it gets worse. In May 2024, @CampusJewHate revealed that THIRTY faculty at @ColumbiaMSPH signed this open letter supporting CUAD.
Are we supposed to believe that @Columbia faculty, who coordinate with and sign letters in support of CUAD, are not affiliated? Does it even matter? 3/5
NEW: VIDEO evidence has emerged of Mohsen Mahdawi leading a mob screaming at Jewish students.
This guy has NEVER been an innocent 'student'. @TheFP just dropped an expose on him- and the details are INSANE.🧵👇1/8
@Columbia @SulkinMaya
While Mahdawi was on a green card organizing students to scream at Jews @Columbia, his uncle, Yousef Mahdawi, was serving LIFE in PRISON for planning a 2003 suicide bombing in Israel.
The sickening irony: While Mahdawi was publicly denouncing Jews for demanding release of innocent hostages — he was working for release of his uncle, a convicted terrorist.
His uncle was actually released in January in a hostage-for-prisoner exchange. Meanwhile 59 hostages REMAIN in Gaza dungeons.
Mahdawi celebrates this as "justice" on his social media. 2/8
Does anyone really believe Mahdawi’s activism is unrelated to his family’s ties to terror? Or that his post-10/7 activism isn’t related to his uncle being on the list of prisoners demanded by Hamas?
For this alone, keeping this guy on American campuses sounds like a terrible idea. But it gets worse. Much worse. 👇3/8
1/ Now that Mahmoud Khalil has been taken into ICE custody, his supporters are spinning a sob story about why you should feel sorry for him. Here’s why you shouldn’t—and why this is exactly what needs to happen to restore order to campuses like @Columbia and our country. 🧵👇
2/ Khalil wasn’t just another protester. He was a ringleader of the chaos at @Columbia .
Here he is acting as 1. spokesperson for Hamilton Hall takeover 2. ringleader at Milstein Hall occupation 3. distributed materials supporting terrorism
3/ For over a year, @Columbia coddled Khalil. They excused him. They negotiated with him. They suspended and then un-suspended him. He responded by escalating with more and more DEMANDS.
THIS MORNING @TheFP published an expose of a @Columbia "literary" society celebrating the violent takeover of Hamilton Hall. It's tempting to dismiss this event as self-aggrandizing student theater. Here’s why that would be a serious mistake. 🧵👇 1/7
@SulkinMaya
First, fatured speaker Nardeen Kiswani thanked students for taking over Hamilton Hall, and fantasized openly of “taking over the city block by block” and creating a “Zionist-free NYC.” Considering that >75% of Americans support Israel, this rhetoric effectively targets 3/4 of New Yorkers for expulsion. 🤯 2/7

@Columbia
Next, three @Columbia students read a poem celebrating Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas MONSTER who planned the massacres, rapes and kidnappings of Oct 7, and who expressed satisfaction with all the civilian destruction that followed. This psychopath is their chosen hero? 😲 3/7
