@Columbia @SulkinMaya While Mahdawi was on a green card organizing students to scream at Jews @Columbia, his uncle, Yousef Mahdawi, was serving LIFE in PRISON for planning a 2003 suicide bombing in Israel.
The sickening irony: While Mahdawi was publicly denouncing Jews for demanding release of innocent hostages — he was working for release of his uncle, a convicted terrorist.
His uncle was actually released in January in a hostage-for-prisoner exchange. Meanwhile 59 hostages REMAIN in Gaza dungeons.
Mahdawi celebrates this as "justice" on his social media. 2/8

@SulkinMaya First, fatured speaker Nardeen Kiswani thanked students for taking over Hamilton Hall, and fantasized openly of “taking over the city block by block” and creating a “Zionist-free NYC.” Considering that >75% of Americans support Israel, this rhetoric effectively targets 3/4 of New Yorkers for expulsion. 🤯 2/7
