Right after they mess up yet another public investigation (Brown shooting) they claim to have unfoiled a massive plot of a "leftist group" in California.
Either this group doesn't exist, or it is literally just the 4 people the FBI arrested and they are massively overstating it.
The official complaint said that the group is an "offshoot" of the "Pro-Palestinian group" "Turtle Island Liberation Front"
3/20
But the Instagram account that the FBI noted in connection to the group, says that this Los Angeles chapter is its "Founding Chapter"
4/20
But, the FBI also claims yet another individual was arrested in New Orleans, as part of a separate plot by another chapter of the same group...
5/20
The Instagram account for "TurtleIslandLiberationFront" is an empty account made in October that only shows a re-post of their founding "LA" chapter.
6/20
The LA account only goes back to July of this year, and when you look at its following, you'll note there are no other chapters, just the LA account following its other account.
7/20
Outside of that, there aren't any serious mentions or presence of the group.
There is an unrelated Twitter account by the same handle that seems to be run by a Canadian who isn't affiliated.
8/20
"Turtle Island" is the name used by some Aboriginal groups to refer to North America.
But other than the FBI/DOJ mentioning "Turtle Island Liberation Front" and that Instagram account, the only time the name pops up is in a fictional Reddit vexillology meme from 2021
9/20
It then doesn't appear mentioned online again until 2023 in a mod for a video game called "Hearts of Iron" (a political military sim) where an alternative history mod called "Twilight of the Anthropocene" has on tiny background group with the same name.
The mod is a satire.
10/20
To put that game mod into perspective, it also lists Kim Jon Un and Richard Nixon as part of a California Corporatocracy under Curtis Yarvin, and lists Boris Johnson rising to be President of the United States...
11/20
After this there seem to be no online references to any "Turtle Island Liberation Front" that aren't referencing the game meme until this year in July, when the group suddenly creates an Instagram account.
Then in October they create a matching Facebook.
12/20
Their posts are things like "Resistance is glorious" and "peaceful protest will never be enough" and long rants that sound like a caricature of what MAGA thinks left wing values are.
It's gross calls to violence that have no place in legitimate political discourse.
13/20
So there are two options:
1) This group is a fictional patsy created to give a win to the DoJ/FBI in a news cycle and fodder for anti-left messaging.
OR
2) 4 People in October started a group, based on a meme name, and are dumb extremists who plotted something and the FBI caught them and rightfully arrested them but is overstating the size of the group.
14/20
The problem I have with #2 is simple:
-This FBI is incompetent.
We've seen how they handle public investigations. They bumble their way around and only get arrests when someone turns themselves in.
15/20
Even with hundreds of campus cameras at Brown, the FBI couldn't develop a subject.
That raises serious questions about the competence and capability of the current leadership.
16/20
Now had "TILF" been a real big group with lots of chapters planning a large attack in multiple places, maybe they catch wind of it.
But you're telling me an FBI this incompetent, found out 4 people with 0 social media following found a plot that only started in October?
17/20
With domestic monitoring programs gutted, with the FBI unable to close leads, with DHS & FBI unable to identify and thwart major planned attacks that we've seen play out in the US, including cross-border, and a 22 year old grocer leading CP3, they some how detected that?
18/20
If they did - hey great!
4 lunatics got arrested.
But, pretending this is some big group with *mulitple* targets, multiple chapters, multiple offshoots, and some large capable "leftist" org is not only bs - it calls into question the authenticity of it all.
19/20
And the timing could not be more suspect given:
-New calls for Patel's resignation after another public failing.
-The due date of the release of the Epstein files this week.
20/20
I am all for catching criminals and stopping terror plots.
But either this DoJ/FBI is lying, OR, at best, embellishing their accolades to an extreme to mislead the American people.
Neither are good.
And both merit calls for resignation and competent leadership.
Ok it gets weirder…
Somehow this group of 4 people got busted by:
-writing down their plan.
-recruiting two more people to support their plan.
-those two people who the found SEPARATELY happened to be:
1) A confidential FBI informant who worked with the FBI since 2021.
And the other:
2) An undercover FBI agent.
Do you know how statistically implausible that is?!
Some people read it wrong thinking one of the defendants was the informant, or the agent and informant were the same person.
It’s not.
There were 4 LA defendants.
Two of them tried to recruit one more person each and share their plan.
The FBI claims that this ended up being their long standing informant and an undercover agent…
What the fuck?

Trump has been given the “Montreal Cognitive Assessment” (MOCA) which is the standard evaluation used by doctors, including the US Navy at Walter Reed, to test for dementia.
Even though the MoCA is NOT part of the standard annual Presidential physical.
We know this as it is the only US accepted adult cognitive test that requires identifying 3 animals.
3/11
BUT, now we know he has had 3 of these cognitive tests since the start of the year by his own admission!
If someone fails a MOCA they are tested twice more with a 3 month delay between each test version.
Our geopolitical adversaries in China and Russia would love nothing more than to expand their sphere of influence further and disrupt US trade stability, culture dominance and advancement.
Weakening the US sphere of influence.
3/16
They’ve repeatedly shown this through:
-interference like the “Good Old USA project”
-The invasion of Ukraine despite US warning
-State sponsored cyber attacks on US interests
-Repeated violations of NATO airspace
-and plotted terror attacks against US citizens
These questions keep coming up in comments so quick fire context:
-Yes, 95% includes credit cards, that’s fine, it’s the 67% who don’t think they can pay it off in term that’s bad.
-Historically, that 67% number is 20% for the holiday season and lower the rest of the year.
-This data does not include in-store financing offers (like 0 interest for X months) nor store specific credit cards or partnership that offer that specialty financing.
-This data does not count Visa Debit cards as financing.
-And yes, I’m glad you are super responsible, pay off your card and get points, but most consumers are not, that’s why credit card companies make money.
This also does not include car data as its retail stats.
So the “financed” percent actually would get higher if it was by all purchase volume, but car financing is very different.
