Judaism no longer exists. Over the past 100 years, Judaism has been functionally replaced by zionism. This is as true for the major international Jewish institutions and organizations as it is for nearly all of the smaller local religious centers and communal organizations.

Go to basically any synagogue in white euro-america (where most of the world's Jews are) and you'll find "israeli" flags, fundraisers for "israel," education about "israel," organized propaganda trips to "israel," and collaboration with zionist colonial organizations like the JNF

Yes, there are secular Jews who claim to oppose "israel" and who even engage in "pro-Palestine organizing." But the simple reality is that these secular Jews have basically zero power within the Jewish community and truly are a small fringe of mostly disconnected individuals.

Due to the post-Holocaust hegemony of philosemitism (white supremacist imperialism, colonialism, orientalism, anti-Blackness), "the left" refuses to acknowledge this fact, often directly obscuring it with nonsensical slogans about how "Judaism isn't zionism."

and holding up the fringe minority of secular anti-zionist Jews, almost universally disconnected from their communities, not participating in communal Jewish life, and not holding any power within the organized Jewish community, as proof that "Judaism isn't zionism."

and then it's this silly situation where "the left" cries out that "Judaism is not zionism" and then synagogues, Jewish communal leaders, Jewish institutions, "the Jewish state" with it's "Jewish army" and its Jewish settler population respond, saying that zionism IS Judaism.

But that zionist Jews have thoroughly destroyed a millenia old religious tradition is the fault of the Jewish community itself and no one else and to be clear, this is not to treat Jews as the victims of this process. only to acknowledge that Judaism and zionism *are* inseparable

now. but only because zionist Jews have made it so through a century of racist propaganda, violence and betrayal against the Jews who pushed for a better, more just, world (look at how the ADL collaborated with the McCarthyist govt to turn in communist Jews, for instance)

and communal/institutional/organizational alignment with white euro-american imperialism, anti-Blackness, Islamophobia.

I have zero interest in the project of "trying to save the soul of Judaism" from zionism

As far as I am concerned, Judaism is dead and Jews killed it.

In my opinion, the only path forward is to acknowledge the reality of "Judaism" today and work to destroy the zionist project and the white euro-american anti-Black/Islamophobia colonialism imperialism that made zionism possible in the first place.
