1) I see the usual takes are out on Stefanik and some of the other resignations. Almost all are wrong.

2) Here is what is happening. Trump has so radically changed Washington that these people actually HAVE TO WORK to keep up with him.
3) They face a choice: keep up with him legislatively, or be made irrelevant.

4) EXCEPT THEY CAN'T KEEP UP WITH HIM. No one can. Trump has limitless energy, infinite agenda items to make America greater.
5) Think about this: remember all the whining and complaining during the BBB votes, and how idiot Nancy Mace was trying to juggle her social media/pajama appearances with actual votes?

6) I'm not even counting the fact that now they have to actually try to READ legislation.
7) Trump is, in terms of agenda, constantly MONTHS ahead of the rest of D.C. While I do not think it is the entire reason---maybe not the most important reason---I do think this is part of the Bongino problem, that unlike previous part-time FBI peeps, they now are there 24/7.
8) Either they keep up, or they become completely irrelevant---as both the House and the Senate (as I wrote five years ago) have mostly become.

9) People keep wanting Congress to "codify" Trump's ex orders---but they can't even remotely move that fast. If lucky, they'll get 10%
10) Understand they have never, under ANY president, been forced to work like this. They don't have time for their cocktail parties and social media & "fact finding" boondoggles.

11) Can you name ONE major "fact finding" trip the GOP congresscritters have taken this year?
12) This is utterly destroying the very reason many of them wanted these positions.

13) It's not, as one dweedletwister claimed, due to "ideological purity tests." No, the problem is you can have any position you want, but you better be intellectually & in terms of energy . .
13) contd . . . ready and able to defend it. That means that people like MTG or Baconboy need to have well thought out major positions on everything from crypto to nuke fusion.

I'm here to tell you, they don't. Not even close.

14) DC is a culture that relies on STAFFERS.
15) But you can bet your bottom Bitcoin that the D.C. staffers aren't remotely capable of keeping up with Trump & his cabinet.

16) Those who replace these people are going to have to be radically different in their attitudes and approach to gubment.
17) You want more evidence of why I think this is the case?

18) Trump has, like a cat with a laser light, focused almost all of D.C. on three things in the past few months: the Ballroom expansion, his Reiner tweet, and the Trump/Kennedy Center.
19) These issues have had ALL DemoKKKrats & all RINOs in high dudgeon as they scream about class and taste. What are they NOT screaming about?

20) Anyone? Bueller?

21) REAL ISSUES. REAL POLICIES.
22) Why? Because
THEY.
CANNOT.
KEEP.
UP.
WITH.
TRUMP.
ON.
REAL.
POLICIES.

The background research, the time it takes is simply overwhelming the DemoKKKrat response machine.
23) Now, I believe Trump really does think the Ballroom needed to be bigger and better, and I really do think he tells you what's on his mind (here we had all these people wanting "honesty" in politicians, when he tells you what he honestly thinks, people flip out) but either way
23) contd . . . what you are seeing is a massive diversionary attack. Again, don't know if this is by design or it's just who he is, but the fact is, these "issues" are absorbing ALL the air time, news coverage, and so on that normally would go to
REAL ISSUES.
24) And on real issues, Trump's team is hypersonic. Last three weeks:
*Radical new Strategic Policy that is 180 degrees different than the post-war Bretton Woods/NATO arrangement. Congress? ("duuuhhh, what?")
*Radical new Rare Earth Minerals programs, opening mine after mine.
24) contd . . . Meanwhile, Congress, "Wait, what are REMs? Isn't that related to sleep?"
*HHS is at breakneck speed undoing the entire transoid culture of the fed gubment while at the same time sharply reversing the vax policies.
24) contd.
*Trump and Muy Macho Marco are radically re-negotiating the entire WORLD, getting us (via peace deals or new unstated "alliances") access to key energy and minerals while at the same time CUTTING OUT THE CHICOMS.

In Latin America alone Trump is close to a . . .
24) contd . . . ChiCom free zone. Elections are coming up in Brazil. If Lula gets the boot & forces of Bolsonaro come back, LATIN AMERICA WILL BE FREE, except for the couple of narco states.

*Without Congress Trump is crushing those. Over 100 boats sunk with billions in product.
25) Again, this all goes back to why many of these people are quitting.
*Trump negotiates personally and via Truth. He doesn't NEED Congress to gum things up. By the time they figure out what he's doing, he's moved on.
26) In less than a year, he has returned the US to be not only energy independent, but the largest LNG supplier in the world, meaning . . .

27) The US will become the largest AI/Data Center in the world, and it won't be close.

28) What did Congress have to do with any of this?
27) These are just a handful of examples, but it should be obvious: Congresscritters now are virtually irrelevant, yet if they want to have a say in anything, they have to work their butts off like a real job.

28) Or they can resign themselves to Trump doing it all.

TEN GREAT THINGS TO WRAP UP YOUR WEEK WITH

1. Inflation, by all measures has cooled and beat the (always wrong) "expectations."

2. DHS announced that in less than a year they have deported/self-deported an astonishing 2.5 MILLION illegal criminal invaders.
3. Final voter registration wrap up for the year, which includes voter roll purges, shows that EVERY. SINGLE. STATE moved to the right. Total shift, Rs+1.18 million. NC is only months away from turning red, PA on track to be red before 2028.
4. DemoKKKrats had to bury their "Why we lost" 2024 report because they did not like the answers and they were not going to change.

5. President Trump's National Strategic Plan moves us away from Euro alliances and more toward new relationships with like-minded Latin states.

1) If you have not yet read the Trump National Security Strategy, it will make you stand up and cheer.

2) American elites badly misjudged America's ability to shoulder the burden of defending the world with "no connection to global interest." Amen, amen, amen.

3) I'm not going to break up these two paragraphs in separate tweets cuz you MUST read this. "What do we want?"

"First and foremost, we want the continued survival and safety of the United States as an independent, sovereign republic whose government secures the God-given natural rights of its citizens and prioritizes their well-being and interests. We want to protect this country, its people, its territory, its economy, and its way of life from military attack and hostile foreign influence, whether espionage, predatory trade practices, drug and human trafficking, destructive propaganda and influence operations, cultural subversion, or any other threat to our nation."
4) I don't know how any panican spoogebuckets can hyperventilate over those two paragraphs.

5) It gets better:
"We want full control over our borders, over our immigration system, and over transportation networks through which people come into our country—legally and illegally."

1) As pioneers such as Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett spread out through the early American wilderness, another sort of pioneer was building a commercial structure that would soon take over after civilization followed.
2) Somewhat ironically, the two men were on the opposite side of the fence, but had the same vision: impose order on chaos that was the commercial frontier.

3) John Jacob Astor, a German immigrant who sold musical instruments, knew that there was a fortune in furs.
4) He taught himself the business, learned what Indians wanted in trade, and conceived of a radical new "factory" system for the fur trade. There were just two problems: Britain and the U.S. government.

1) For over a year I've been warning you that barring flat-out dictatorship like Rutabaga used, our national character does NOT go after political enemies, even those that . . . ahem . . . started a civil war that killed 600,000.
2) Other than the murderous creep who ran Andersonville prison, not one single Confederate officer or member of the CSA administration was arrested or jailed except Jefferson Davis.

3) He served a whopping 2 years.

4) Not the first time. In 1814, as the British . . .
4) contd. . . with REAL SOLDIERS in a REAL INVASION were on American soil and you had a group of Federalist toejam suckers trying to SECEDE.

5) Not one was even arrested.

1) Why "Die Hard" is an awesome movie.

2) Almost everyone loves "Die Hard," a John McTiernan film from 1988 starring Bruce Willis and Alan Richman. But what made it so great?

3) The movie opens with NY cop John McClain (Willis) landing in LA. He is anxious.
His seatmate . . .
3) contd . . . asks him if flying bothers him & then shows him a trick to decrease the stress--taking off your shoes & socks and "Making fists with your toes." It turns out as in all great moviemaking this plays a key role in the plot.

4) The man then notices something you . . .
4) contd . . . wouldn't see today, namely that when McClain stands up his gun shows. Then, when McClain heads for baggage, he lights up a cigarette in the airport!

5) McClain is greeted by a driver, "Argyle," who is driving a limo for the first time. He chats up McClain.

1) This is hard to write, but historically it appears the GOP is at the same point as the DemoKKKRats in the 1890s or the Republicans in 1912, and neither turned out well.

2) In the 1890s the DemoKKKrats had to choose between racism/continuing to fight the Civil War . . .
2) contd . . . and the emerging domestic populism, which consisted of no foreign wars, regulations on Big Bidness, and inflation. This pitted the Grover Cleveland DemoKKKrats (he was the last good DemoKKKrat) v the William Jennings Bryan wing.

Bryan won the party lost the war.
3) He was defeated by William McKinley, who continued Cleveland's gold policy (good), annexed Cuba then gave it back (good), kept the Philippines. (IMHO, absolutely necessary. Better us than the Huns or the Limeys).

4) But it took McKinley's veep, Teddy Roosevelt, . . .
