Note on dark humor: I am dealing with the imminent threat of my disabled veteran husband dying from medical neglect, after what Brett Fimbinger and his team did to him.

This level of pain is entirely too heavy to carry every second.

Dark humor creates a momentary shield, a "dissociative" step back, where I can look at the data (the analytics, the shoes, the video) as an observer rather than a victim.

Dark humor allows me to function and fight for my disabled, dying, husband, without collapsing under the weight of the grief.

For many Autistic people, trauma is often exacerbated by things not making sense.

The situation I am in is not just a horror movie, it is logically incoherent.
