Starting a thread of footage of the strikes on Iran, all of this is from Tehran at the moment.
"Regime targets" were struck near the Milad Tower. Nitzan Shapira of N12 says this is a joint attack with the US. A number assassinations were reported in the center of Tehran.
A second wave of strikes has started following the first wave that hit central Tehran. Now western Tehran is being hit.
Unconfirmed report: During the first wave Israeli hit the Presidential Building in Tehran, trying to assassinate Iranian President Masoud Pezhkian. There are also renewed strikes near the Mehrabad Airport in western Tehran. So far ~30 targets have been hit such as the intelligence HQ of the IRGC.
Strikes have expanded to eastern Tehran, including Seyed Khandan in District 7.

Israel is preparing for the first stage of assaults on Iran that will include four days of intense attacks with the US. Many of the strikes we've seen so far were done with Tomahawk cruise missiles. The initial round of strikes also hit the Supreme Court building and the Iranian Judicial Institution Center.
- Unconfirmed reports of the assassination of Amir Hatami, Iran's Minister of Defense.
- Strikes on Tehran also hit the Supreme National Security Council building
- Footage shows an aerial refueling on an F-22 Raptor stealth fighter aircraft
- Iranian official tells Reuters that they are preparing a "devastating" response
- President Trump: "We have started an extensive military operation in Iran, we will destroy the threat from the cruel Iranian regime"
- Iranian media reports cyber attacks on against media outlets in the country such as IRNA. Wouldn't be surprised if Iran's air defense array was also compromised by cyber attacks.
- American and Israeli aircraft filmed over Daraa, Southern Syria.
- Iranian media says President Masoud Pezeshkian was NOT killed in the attacks
- 7 missiles struck the region around the Presidential Palace and the Office of the Supreme Leader
New explosions just reported, this time in Ilam, western Iran.
Very clear sequence of actions: The first round of strikes focuses on eliminating high-ranking IRGC operatives, including some actively involved in sensitive operations. Symbols associated with the Iranian government, defense ministry, and IRGC were strike in broad daylight. Now Trump is urging Iranian police and security forces to lay down their arms or face "certain death".
Now another round of strikes is imminent as Israeli sorties make their way to Iran to launch air-launched ballistic missiles such as Golden Horizon and Ice Breaker.
New series of explosions reported in Tehran, Iranian air defense is finally active near the border with Iraq.
- Internet access dropping in Tehran
- New strikes on Bushehr, Dezful, Bandar Abass, Tabriz, and Tehran
- Lebanese President Nawaf Salam, "We will not accept intervention by any party in Lebanon that would drag us into adventures that threaten our security."
Iranian ballistic missiles are expected to reach Iran within 10 minutes if not less
Red alerts throughout northern Israel, this will expand deeper into the country soon. At least 30 launches reported.
Multitasking right now so I'm gonna post less frequently:
2 launches in Northern Israel, at least 1 intercepted.
5 ballistic missiles launched towards Gush Dan and Jerusalem, at least 1 interception.
Initial reports of launches towards Naval Support Activity Bahrain
Initial reports of launches from Yemen
New wave of BMs launched, this time from Yazd Launch Base, 1800km from Israel.
One of the 5 BMs launched towards Central Israel landed in Tel Aviv. Sirens have once again expanded to Northern Israel.
Just a sample of the sheer amount of red alerts throughout Israel, along with footage of the impact on the Galilee region. New attacks have popped up in Tabriz, the source of much of the ballistic missile fire.

Starting a new Iran war thread as the last one is cluttered. Footage is trickling in from US/Israeli attacks on western Iran, including significant explosions at the Zanjan ballistic missile storage and launch base. This site suffered moderate damage during the last war.
At least 12 simultaneous ballistic missile launches from Iran, the largest single wave I've seen all day.
An Iranian Shahed-131/136 hit a building in Manama, Bahrain
MEGA THREAD🧵Hamas Governor of Khan Younis KIDNAPPED? This is the full story of Osama Abu Anza, the local leadership in Southern Gaza, and the link to Nasser Hosptial.
During Hamas's 2007 takeover of the Gaza Strip, head of the Khan Younis Governorate, Osama Abu Anza, was allegedly involved in bombing the Palestinian Authority's Preventive Security headquarters in Khan Younis. Hamas fighters dug a large tunnel under the building and detonated explosives, killing 5 people. More generally he was accused of killing 15 members of the Palestinian Authority and Fatah during the June 2007 clashes. He led the October 2025 raid on the Al-Mujaida clan in western Khan Younis and al-Mawasi.
Anti-Hamas sources claimed that Osama Abu Anza was appointed governor in June 2025 with his deputy being Abu Khalid Abu Shamala. They say Abu Anza ordered Tamer Abu Dabousa, a prominent Sahm operative, to hijack aid trucks and store the profits in the College of Applied Sciences of Khan Younis. Popular Forces leader Ghassan al-Dahini accused Abu Anza of killing employees of the Al-Khazindar Company, which worked with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
In recent days a scandal emerged in the Abu Anza family. Anti-Hamas sources claim Osama and his relative Yasser Abu Anza (mayor of Abasan al-Saghira) stole 1 million shekels in donations from Silawiya clan families in Beersheva that was meant to fund communal meals and calve slaughtering. They claim some of the money was sent to Yasser's son, Baraa Abu Anza, who resides in Oman for his own personal business. Another family member, Muhammad Atta Abu Anza, witnessed this incident and complained about in on Facebook. As a result he was frozen out of the family's institutions.
Who is Hussam al-Astal, the leader of a new Israel-backed anti-Hamas gang burgeoning in Qizan al-Najjar? In this MEGA THREAD we'll go through all publicly available information on this man. 🧵
First let's begin with the elephant in the room. His tactical vest has the IMI Defense logo plastered on it. IMI is an Israeli company that manufactures firearm accessories and components. So Hussam isn't even attempting to conceal his collaboration with Israel.
This was further proven in an interview he had with the Times of Israel, wherein he said there is "coordination" with Israel. He also admitted to receiving funding from the US, Europe, and certain Arab states (I'd posit UAE given the Dahlan link I'll discuss later).
Hussam al-Astal, nom de guerre, Abu Sufn Al-Astal, is a 53 year old who used to serve as a low-level security guard for a private company in Gaza and Israel proper. He then joined the Palestinian Authority's Preventive Security Forces, rising through the ranks as an officer. He's maintained contact with Israeli intelligence since 1996. He and other members of the Preventative Security Forces fled Gaza in 2007 following Hamas's takeover of the Strip.
Afterwards he resided and worked in Malaysia. While staying in Malaysia his connections with the Mossad deepened. He would travel to Arab and western countries using a forged Montenegrin passport. This is interesting because Mohammed Dahlan led the Preventative Security Forces while Hussam worked in the organization. In 2012, Montenegro granted Dahlan and his wife citizenship & Dahlan has significant investments in the country. Dahlan served as a security advisor for Emirati President Mohamed bin Zayed.
🚨Gazan sources falsely reported that Hamas captured Issam al-Nabahin, a senior commander in Yasser Abu Shabab's Popular Forces. Issam has a long history of ISIS affiliations. In this thread we'll go through the full story of al-Nabahin. 🧵
In mid-2015 a Salafi-Jihadist cell in Gaza was behind 6 car bombings of 4 Hamas and 2 Palestinian Islamic Jihad members in the Sheikh Radwan and al-Naqaf neighborhoods in Gaza City. 2 people were injured in the attacks but nobody was killed. It was their first attack on al-Qassam, Hamas's military wing. Previous attacks focused on government buildings.
Hamas's internal security identified 7 men in this cell: Fadi al-Hajar, Mustafa Nawaf, Nader Bassam, Mohammad Shahda al-Dalo, Abdul Rahman Abu Magheseb, Mohammad Jamal Abu Dalal, and Issam Suleiman al-Nabahin. The cell fled to the Sinai Peninsula and joined the ranks of Wilayat Sinai - ISIS's Sinai branch.
UPDATE🚨: We now have far more information on origins of Yasser Abu Shabab, his militia, and their ties to Israel and secret third parties. In this thread we'll go through the latest developments, leaving no stone unturned.
As a reminder, this was my introductory thread to Shabab, mainly covering the recent history of the Tarabin tribe & the functions of Shabab's militia, the Counter-Terrorism Apparatus (or Popular Forces). I'll be using all three monikers interchangeably.
Abu Shabab's origins are extremely interesting. The 32 year old is a member of the al-Shabiba clan within the broader Tarabin tribe. Within his clan he is a member of the Abu Shabab family, originally from Be'er Sheva. They moved to Southern Gaza to join existing Tarabin communities following the 1948 war. The infamous Sheikh & Mukhtar Hassan Abu Shabab was a member of the family during their move to Gaza.
Who is Yasser Abu Shabab? In this detailed thread, we'll look at the rise of a potential opposition figure to Hamas's rule, and his role in the new Gaza humanitarian aid mechanism. 🧵
Shabab is a notable clan leader of the Tarabin Tribe in Rafah. The Tarabin is one of the largest Bedouin tribes spanning the northern Sinai Peninsula, southern Gaza, the Negev Desert, southern Jordan, and even NW Saudi Arabia. The tribe consists of 21 clans & I believe Shabab is a member of the Al-Sanea Clan. Each clan consists of several smaller factions, including the Al-Shabiba Faction within Al-Sanea. Yasser is likely a leader within this particular faction.
The Tarabin have a nuanced history and many idiosyncracies. The community has over 500k members. In 2011 many Tarabin and other Bedouin militias in northern Sinai took up arms against the Egyptian government while the country was in turmoil.
Eventually these groups coalesced into Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis. ABM also included Egyptians from the Nile River Delta and foreign Salafi Jihadists. As Egypt started clamping down more heavily on ABM in 2014, the organization swore fealty to ISIL. ABM was disbanded and replaced with the Islamic State - Sinai Province. Many of the Bedouin members of ABM opposed this shift and refused to join IS-SP. Some of these Bedouin leaders fled to southern Gaza with the help of their Tarabin brethren.
Throughout 2014 Tarabins and other Sinai Bedouin were reluctant to assist the Egyptian governemnt though. At first IS-SP did include many local Bedouins but this started to change in 2015. That year the Tarabin community leadership called for the destruction of IS-SP and sent fighters to assist the Egyptian military in puting down the Sinai insurgency. Likewise IS-SP targeted Tarabin militias and civilians.
