According to Wikipedia, the Statue of Liberty is a neoclassical copper sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. It was a gift from France to the United States to celebrate American independence and was dedicated in 1886. French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi designed Image
the statue, and Gustave Eiffel built its metal framework. The statue's official name is Liberty Enlightening the World and it's a global symbol of freedom.
