We have as yet received no donations to assist Malorie get into her garden flat in Salt River. Please help us help this very deserving young lady by donating what you can towards the rental of R1000 and/share.
Thank you. Carlos
There are times when I feel it necessary to share the struggle of some of the recipients of your generosity as donors and the lady we are currently trying to accommodate, Malorie, is one of those. Malorie was born into a dysfunctional family unit. Her mom was a chronic drug user
and prostitute and the father she never knew was a drug user and criminal. Malorie's saving grace was her grandmother who insisted her granddaughter be schooled and so it was that Malorie matriculated a year after her granny's death with a distinction in mathematics and
She had wanted to study further to be an accountant but her mother had other plans. In order to pay her way, she insisted Malorie joined her for threesomes when she was in Grade 8 and by the time she had completed her Matric year her mother had insisted she go into prostitution
At around 12h00, I was called out to the area just beyond the Vasco train station. There I was introduced to an old couple. He is 78, she is 74. They had been forcefully evicted this morning by the family of the previous owner of the property
(he died just over two weeks ago) where they had been living in an outside room for the past 3 years.
They were dumped with the little they have on the (He passed away aprox 2 weeks ago) where they had been living in an outside room for the past 3 years.
They were dumped with
the little they have on the Ruyterwaght side of Vasco station.Ruyterwaght side of Vasco station.
There are two young couples living in the area (whom we have been trying to get off the streets), who were concerned for the old couple as the area is controlled by gangsters and so

So much to update on, yet so little time today, as we try to handle a crisis for a disabled couple, their 4 year old son and their two dogs.
But first, I have to thank a regular donor, who has not only donated the R700 we required to paydocs.google.com/document/d/1B-…
our rental for the Rehab Recovery Rooms in full but has also donated almost half of what we require to accommodate the couple I mentioned above.
We were alerted to a situation in Bellville’s notorious “KAMP” adjacent to the Bellville station and where the
Bellville Haven Night Shelter used to be.
This KAMP, which I have reported on before, is controlled by the criminal element and gangsters.
These people prey on the already desperate. They will “allow” people like the disabled couple we are referring to to build a hokkie on these
We have as yet received no donations towards either the R870 we urgently require to purchase the drug tests and methadone packs for the 15 new intakes at the newly extended Rehab Recovery Rooms in Woodstock, (This is an essential for all new intakes) or towards the R600.00
required to get 4 of the guys that moved from the Rehab Recovery Rooms after their 3 month stint and have been offered jobs on our renewing their PSIRA certifications. This is essential for their new journey of independence. Please donate what you can and share.
Please donate what you can and share. 3 donations of R500, 5 donations of R300 or one donation of R1470 will get us there, even 15 donations of R100!

Thank you, Carlos
Yesterday was a VERY LONG but one of the most rewarding for me personally. We were able to move 9 residents at our Woodstock Rehab Recovery Rooms into independent accommodation after they had successfully completed their three months. Even more exciting was the fact that 2 of
the 9 leave the Rehab Recovery Rooms already employed and 4 leave with the promise of employment by our one security company partner in accommodating those we accommodate. All we need is to renew their PSIRA certifications. And here we are asking you to please assist us.
We need R150 each in order to do this for Basil, Jonathan, Emile and Bongani. There have never been four more deserving individuals, taking into account that 6 months ago they all entered a rehab program as a 3 month sentence imposed on them by the Magistrates Court in
