Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "What protects the legal vote?

Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, or Save America Act, is a 2026 legislative proposal aimed at requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.
1)
Who knows if it will pass the House and Senate, but I have a question about the whole process.
2)
Today, without this proposed law, the U.S. Constitution makes it clear that only citizens shall be allowed to vote in federal elections—for members of Congress, senators, and the president of the USA.
3)
The Constitution also states that the state legislatures decide how their elections are organized and conducted.
4)
So today, we have a serious problem with non-citizens voting in some states. Now, will someone tell me what this Save America Act will do to enforce the law and prevent non-citizens from voting in states that allow them?
5)
Because as I see it, if they already violate the Constitution, how does another layer of laws change that?
6)
Unless and until there is enforcement—in the form of denying seating of officials elected by the votes of non-citizens—no new law, no new layers of laws, are going to make any difference.
7)
Yes, I know the President wants this law and that the left opposes it. But realistically, how will it be enforced if a state like California, Illinois, or New York refuses to enforce it?"

And he laid out his plans.
1)
Increase French socialist policies, including nationalization of more operations.

Oppose the USA.

Force Europe to institute a permanent total boycott against Israel in support of the Palestinians.

So, let me ask you some questions.

Should the US consider France an ally?
2)
If France boycotts Israel, will Israel be hurt by that?

If France moves to Marxism, I would boycott France."

In the 1950s, Cuba was a thriving nation, with a fast-growing economy—an economy that exported food, from beef to fruits and sugar. Yes, the regime that controlled Cuba then was bad—very bad.
1)
And yes, the Castro regime reforms did some good in areas of education and medical care, but in every other area of governmental rule, Cuba was a gross failure, living on subsidies from the Soviet Union and more recently from Venezuela.
2)
What Cuba under Castro did not seem to realize is that collectivism does not work so well, and when owners with experience in business and operations leave, replacing them with government bureaucrats does not work so well.

This seems to have become a political issue for some in the State of Israel. Should the Israeli state be a Jewish state or a state of all its residents, and why cannot it be both?
1)
Consider the following.

Russia. Russian ethnics are barely a bit more than half the population of Russia.

France. 13% of the French population are Muslims, people who come from a North African society.
2)
Belgium, the UK, Netherlands, and others now have substantial foreign, non-Christian populations.

All these countries have business closed on Sunday and Christian holidays. Many of them have religion (Christian religion) taught in public state schools.

Or maybe it is an intentional effort to forget the facts and embellish what seems to give a sense of safety that realistically was never there.

Article after article has appeared in recent years, about the loss of Jewish life in Europe that existed before the Holocaust, regretting that loss, embellishing what really was. Story after story by people who talk about how their families were all so wealthy and

Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "And where is justice?

It is now six years that Benjamin Netanyahu has been subject to politically motivated persecution in the form of slanderous accusations formed into legal terms.
1)
Six years ago, when the indictments were handed down, I was sent a copy of all the complaints and allegations. I read them carefully, compared them to reality, and concluded that not one had evidential merit.
2)
When I wrote what my initial reactions were, I was told by some people that Israeli prosecutors had a 95% conviction rate once they issued indictments, and that the legal research record was strong. I could not see how that could possibly be true.

No, I am not going to write about the Sacrifices ordered for the Tabernacle (Mishkan) and then taken to the Temple in Jerusalem.
2)
I have three observations regarding the “sacrifices” (Korbonot). 1. They were abolished periodically for 1400 years. 2. After the destruction of the Second Temple, they were discontinued, and our Sages replaced them with prayer.
