Robert Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces:

Soldiers are ordered to target [Russian] personnel, rather than armour or other equipment, at least 30% of the time. 1/6 Image
“If a battalion has no infantry left, the Russians don’t disband it but throw desk officers to the front. They are the easiest targets, because they can’t fight.” 2/6
Every mission, whether drone strike or electronic-warfare session, is logged and verified by video, then fed into business-intelligence software that Brovdi repurposed from his days as a grain trader. 3/6
The killing is managed closer to the front. Teams operate 3-5km behind the line, overseen only by battle captains back at headquarters. The unit has an ecosystem of 15 interlocking functions, from jamming to surveillance, mine-laying and explosive production. 4/6
It is a concept nato generals have yet to grasp, he says. “When the Americans come—and they come to us like bees to honey—they ask, ‘Which drone is best?’ I tell them the best drone is an ecosystem. For one pilot to make a kill, a whole machine must work behind him.” 5/6
Strict safety protocols keep his unit’s cumulative casualty rate at just 1%. The unmanned-systems forces now extract 400 Russian lives for just one Ukrainian and each kill costs $878 in materiel. 6/6

General Drapatyi, Commander-in-Chief of Ukrainian Armed Forces:

Russia is a nation with a leadership that has no right to exist. Nothing has changed there for thousands of years, neither in its mentality nor in its imperial ambitions and behavior. 1/16 Image
Our historical past is something that, unfortunately, Russian propaganda has tried to erase from our memory and our traditions. We are inconvenient for the Russian Federation from a historical perspective because, in their view, Russia has no history of its own. 2/16
They have long maintained that without Ukraine there can be no Russia, nor any kind of union. That is why Russia continues to try to bring us back under its control. 3/16

Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces:

There is no longer a single kilometer of European Russia that is beyond the reach of Ukraine’s freedom loving birds. 1/15 Image
And despite the scale of their country, there is little they can do about it.

This has led to a lasting psychological strain among the population of the aggressor state. 2/15
The Russian authorities spent years preparing their society for war, and the overwhelming majority of Russians still support Putin’s policies. The difference now is that they support them while living in a constant state of fear. 3/15

General Syrskyi published an opinion piece in Militarnyi in response to Fedorov:

I was surprised to learn that there had supposedly been a conflict between the Minister and me. 1/17 Image
I viewed our relationship as a professional one, involving difficult issues and differing positions. That is exactly how it should be between two institutions during a major war. 2/17
If I offended anyone in any way, Mykhailo Albertovych, I apologize. I can be tough. But I also ask you, and everyone who is now so captivated by this story, to focus not on personalities, but on the bigger picture, on victory. 3/17

Mykhailo Fedorov on Ukraine's military transformation and achievements:

Today, around 95% of Russian casualties are inflicted by drones. 1/16 Image
In 2022, one of the first unprecedented decisions was to increase profit margins for drone manufacturers by opening the market and allowing margins of up to 25%.
Another major achievement was the development of the Delta battlefield management system. 2/16
Delta had to be defended from repeated attempts to interfere with or replace it under successive military leaderships. There was a persistent institutional tendency to modify or dismantle the system. 3/16

Mykhailo Fedorov's proposed solutions for Ukraine's victory:

The proposed solutions begin with fundamental personnel changes: replacing both the Commander-in-Chief and the Chief of the General Staff. 1/16 Image
There is no other way forward if the objective is to defeat the enemy asymmetrically while minimizing casualties, allowing strong leaders and commanders to develop rather than be suppressed, written off, issued reprimands, or otherwise held back. 2/16
A modern organization built around technology requires leadership in management. It requires managing large numbers of sensors, working with IT specialists, working with talented people, and attracting them even without abundant resources or high salaries. 3/16
