A California judge dropped the final remaining charge against David Daleiden and expunged the case.
This came after a 2025 plea agreement where he and a colleague pleaded no contest to one felony, while other charges were dismissed.
The case had been ongoing for years over secret recordings of Planned Parenthood officials

In a statement made last year, Daleiden said that the end of "the lawfare launched by Kamala Harris [is] a huge victory for my investigative reporting ...

Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "France has paid another ransom, bowing down to the Islamic Republic of Iran so French ships can exit the Persian Gulf.
Some history.
1)
In the late 1700s and the early 1800s, French and British ships used to be taken by Barbary pirates off the coast of North Africa. People on those ships were taken hostage and held for ransom, often abused, and sometimes killed while in captivity,
2)
with beatings and rapes of the women quite common while being held by Muslim authorities.
The European governments tended to pay ransom, and as they paid, the capturing of ships increased and the hostage problems increased.

Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "There seems to be a large increase in cases of early-onset Alzheimer's.
Those discussing it on the BBC said they had no idea what could be causing this increase.
1)
I suppose what the researchers will have to do is look at other things that may have increased: behavioral changes in the last 30 years, dietary changes, and seeking control groups of other cultures, other nations, and
2)
other ethnic groups that have not seen any such increase, which seems to be in populations in some countries (France, the UK, Germany, Italy, and the USA) more than others.
So what are the causes? Diet. Behavior. Stress?????
Roger Froikin @rlefraim wrote, "COUNTING THE OMER - WHAT?
The practice of counting the Omer begins on the evening after the First Day of Pesach. It continues for exactly 7 weeks, 49 days.
1)
It commemorates the period between the Exodus from Egypt and the advent of the Jewish Nation and the time the Torah was given to the people, defining our history, our connection to HaShem and one another, and our culture.
2)
The Omer was originally a measure. It was the ration of manna (מן) allocated per person provided each day except Shabbat for survival.
Originally, for 1300 years, the “counting of the Omer” was considered to be a happy time. Spring. Great weather before the heat of summer.

This is why President Trump spoke out in the 1980s and has been so consistent about Iran not getting nuclear weapons. He knew they had long range ballistic missiles. This is also why President Trump is unhappy with our NATO allies who refused to join with us when asked. 1)
Most do not pay their fair share and we do not need the oil from the Middle East. We are an oil rich nation. Iran could reach the EU nations with their missiles and they expect America to defend them.
2)
President Trump always understood the threat Iran posed to the US if allowed to become a nuclear power. They hate America and our Western values and ultimately sought global dominance.

The Colorado Court of Appeals issued its ruling today (April 2, 2026). The court upheld gold star mom Tina Peters' conviction on the charges related to the 2021 election equipment breach. However, it threw out her 9-year prison sentence and
1)
ordered a resentencing by a lower court judge.
The panel found that the original sentencing judge Matthew Barrett improperly considered Peters' public statements and beliefs about the 2020 election which the appeals court viewed as protected First Amendment speech when...

determining the harshness of the penalty. One judge in the opinion raised concerns about the sentence length on those grounds.
This is not a full reversal or acquittal—Peters remains convicted, and she will face resentencing which...

It turns out there are significant differences in what is considered a just war that separate Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
1)
Judaism considers a “Just War” as a war fought in defense of human life. It makes no distinction between Jewish lives and the lives of any other human beings. It goes on to consider a war against an existential threat to the Jewish people a “Just War,”
2)
including doing everything possible to permanently eliminate that threat. For example, in the Torah, Amalek, or in current events, Hamas and its ideology, or Iran’s Ayatollahs and their ideology.
