Israeli espionage officials were approved by the Atomic Energy Commission to visit the exact uranium enrichment plant, NUMEC, in 1968 where hundreds of pounds of weapons-grade uranium disappeared, despite the CIA already investigating and finding evidence Israel had stolen it.
