Daily Ukraine map thread for Thursday 2nd July 2026
We're back from a short jaunt to the east, and catch up has begun. You'll likely have seen the long range strikes already, so we'll just catch you up on the midstrike campaign.
Around Donetsk, Russian bloggers published plenty of footage from the truck depots and other storage sites for many logistics vehicles, showing the devastating effect the drones have had on availability of vehicles. Drivers continue to show burning trucks by the side of the road too, as traffic gets hammered. If you think it's bad right now, just wait until next month...
Many thanks to the geolocators for their work on this, once again we can only highlight a few of the key ones in this thread, but the many hundreds of others are on the map and in the log.

Daily Ukraine map thread for Saturday 11th July 2026
Strikes on Russian shipping (high-resolution images of two of the vessels struck are below) across the Sea of Azov have prompted Russia to temporarily halt transit through the Kerch Strait. The closure will significantly disrupt the movement of fuel, military supplies and commercial goods between the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, while also complicating Russian exports. Around 20–25% of Russia's grain exports previously moved through the Sea of Azov, forcing much of that traffic to seek alternative routes if it cannot be reopened. It's fortunate for Russia that it isn't already facing fuel shortages and a growing logistical strain...
Meanwhile, the midstrike campaign continues at pace. While the burning ships naturally draw the most attention, they are only one part of a much broader effort. Substations, radar sites, trucks, rail crossings, ammunition accumulation points, training grounds and other military infrastructure continue to be struck across occupied territory. So many vehicles are now being destroyed that geolocators are struggling to keep up, and we're finding it impossible to log every event. Following another wave of attacks on electrical infrastructure, power remains out across large parts of the occupied territories. Russian strikes have undoubtedly caused severe hardship in Ukraine, but the mounting pressure on Russian logistics and infrastructure is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
The frontline remains active, although territorial changes have been relatively limited. Ukrainian forces were sighted once again in Bilohirya in western Zaporizhzhia, while Russian forces continue heavy assaults around Kostyantynivka and west of Siversk
We've added more than 150 events to the map today from many hundreds of reported incidents, with only a handful of highlights making it into the thread below. We're just a small team doing the best we can with limited resources. As always, a huge thank you to the geolocators who generously give their time to verify and share this information.

Devastating - and we do not use that lightly - strikes by midstrike drones across the occupied territories. Twelve ships have now been struck in the Sea of Azov and while alongside at port. Across Crimea, substations continue to come under sustained attack, leaving power infrastructure heavily degraded across much of the peninsula. Ukrainian units also continue to target Russian logistics deep in the rear.
On the front, Ukrainian forces have been confirmed firmly back in Stepnohirsk, and we've advanced the blue accordingly. Kostyantynivka remains contested, with continued Russian shelling indicating Ukrainian positions are still being held within the city. Elsewhere, there are no major territorial changes to report, with Ukraine continuing to hold the line.
Russia currently appears to have no effective answer to the midstrike drone campaign. The cumulative effect is growing. The numbers speak for themselves.

Daily Ukraine map thread for Friday 19th June 2026
A focus on Kherson and Crimea today, where examples of a few of the strikes released recently by different units can be observed. Needless to say, someone in the back of a pickup truck with small arms simply isn't going to do do much to these fast moving drones except feel good about trying.
As we've mentioned in the past, we got a LOT of the footage of destroyed trucks and so on from drivers recorded them in the occupied territories. Russia have clamped down on this, so strikes haven't really changed all that much - we just see a bit less from the traffic side of things.
The short version is the logistics strikes are working fine, despite Russian efforts to obfuscate it. Is it enough yet? No, but it's having an effect, and we're only 3.5 months into it with little sign of slowing down. We suspect the train strikes are having a very oversized effect.

Daily Ukraine map thread for Monday 15th June 2026
Kyiv and other cities were struck by numerous missiles last night. Whilst most of the footage was of attacks on the Lavra, it looks like a Firepoint drone production or assembly facility was hit somewhere judging by some of the photos going around of stacked wing spars in wreckage. As always, loose lips sink ships and all that - if you're hearing it from us, that means it's long gone public ready.
The Ukrainian midstrike and long range campaign continues apace. Numerous units from across the spectrum show destroyed vehicles. The lesser shown off short range drones are still destroying many many vehicles, as demonstrated by a Russian quad driving a short distance towards Hulyaipole coming across at least 17 wrecks.
No BDA from Rybinsk Strategic Oil Reserve yet, but Tamanneftegaz shows three further large oil tanks destroyed. Plenty more to go.

Daily Ukraine map thread for Sunday 14th June 2026
After yesterdays footage, Russian sources released further videos showing Ukrainian forces advancing and clearing positions across an area of roughly 200 km² in the western Donetsk / eastern Dnipropetrovsk direction.
Mid strikes are continuing to rip and tear across the occupied territories, with videos coming out constantly. Long range strikes show no sign of abating either, as Ukraine hit the reserve oil storage in Rybinsk - that's 250 km north east of Moscow.
2/ Compilation of the RU 1472nd Regiment (68th Army Corps) trying to stop Ukrainian advances in West Donetsk.

An early one today, showcasing just some of the mid and long range strikes of the past couple of days.
Other long range strikes not included include the Karakurt class Tucha hit in the Caspian sea, more strikes on warehouses and logistics, Rostov being and Yaroslavl refinery burning again. There are many other strikes, also included on the map which you can find via the link in our profile. Many thanks to the geolocators here.
Very little change on the front, still heavy infantry pressure on the front, but the distinct lack of vehicles means Russia can't really capitalise on any of it and they just end up out of position and eliminated. Those new plinths at the memorials aren't going to fill themselves.
