Last October he was shot five times here in Thailand.

I used to feed Bog Red Brendan in the jungle daily. He didn’t know what had happened to cause him so much pain.

Today he arrived at his new home… (1/7) 🧵 Image

At first I didn’t even know he’d been shot. I fed him every day but it looked like a dog fight at first.

X rays soon proved it was bullets. 5 of them. He was very lucky. I took him straight in (2/7)
He was our first ever patient in Tina’s hospital and the vets got the bullets out.

He is a little wary of humans but his health quickly returned and we set out to find him a safe home (3/7) Image

Big Red Brendan is a gentle soul. He got a home in England.

Time for the journey of a lifetime. Me and him set out with Rocky last week where I took him to Bangkok airport (4/7) Image

We’ve been training him for the journey for months.

He made it today and arrived to meet his parents In Paris France where they picked him up to drive him home (5/7) Image

Le Grand Rouge had a quick pee in the French countryside which he said was lovely. He was traveling with another dog we saved called rescue.

He just arrived to the English countryside and a family who will love him for all his days.

There’s a heat wave but he says this is nothing compared to Thailand.

The tiny bullet scare on his snout a memory of his past ❤️ (7/7) Image

75 days ago Rocky was found alone, terrified, blind and hours from death.

Many people told me to “put him to sleep”.

Today I am very happy to share that his comeback is complete… (1/10) 🧵 Image
Rocky had some of the worst test results I’ve ever seen.

The local vets gave me a somber look.

He was so weak he kept collapsing on me the first day (2/10) Image

It’s hard to know how he ended up on the beach where 2 Russian ladies found him. Probably dumped as someone thought he was done.

It was the ladies who called him Rocky in the hope of a comeback (3/10)

2.5 weeks since we found little Espresso Martini poisoned and taking her last breaths.

The progress has been very slow but some fairly positive news… (1/6) 🧵 Image
We are now confident her broken rib came from frantic locals trying to give her CPR when she was frothing at the mouth. (2/6)
For 10 days she had no power in her body. The poison has done serious damage.

At first she couldn’t lift her head (3/6)

One of the loveliest stories ever.

We got a call about a dog in Thailand who was suffering in the heat. He had been kicked out in the streets.

Never did we think it would end like this… (1/6) 🧵 Image
Shaggy was terrified and tried the flying bite. Anything to get away from what he thought was danger (2/6)
I’m took us a couple of months to fix him up. He was very broken and very sick.

Soon his smile returned. (3/6) Image

3 weeks ago I found little Skye on a building site. She couldn’t move because she’d been hit by a car or another big trauma.

This is how it was going to end for her.

Today she’s doing great… (1/7) 🧵 Image
The little ticks and fleas were eating her alive. We later found her leg had been broken and fused back together.

Our biggest hope was that she was so young. About 3 months old… (2/7)
The vet team did a lot of work with her on bandages and red light therapy and training her.

Skye was understandably terrified. (3/7) Image

A few weeks ago Jimbo was on his own living on the streets.

His health was so bad he was close to death.

Today he has a new Job… (1/4) 🧵 Image
He loves attention and humans so much because he never knew love in his life.

Sometimes we have dogs that don’t need a leash or to stay in a fenced off play area. (2/4)
Jimbo has therefore been appointed to head of security in Alba’s kitchen where he takes over from Atlas.

It’s a very important job as food gets cooked for 1300 dogs a day here (3/4) Image
