🚨 UPDATE 🧵: Nate George's campaign is currently scrubbing their website to remove inaccuracies and discrepancies in George's claimed qualifications and credentials.
Here's what's changed, and why it matters for a candidate running to be Minnesota's fraud watchdog.
Here's the background: George publicly claimed to be a "certified fraud examiner" to attack his opponent's fraud-detection expertise. He's not certified.
His campaign website also claimed George "is" a certified Medical First Responder. That's not true either.
His campaign website was quietly edited tonight. "He is also a certified Firefighter, Paralegal and Medical First Responder..." has become "He was a certified Firefighter, and Medical First Responder."
"Paralegal" was dropped from that list entirely.
As I noted last night, sources say the list of discrepancies in George's claimed qualifications keeps growing. Tonight's website scrubbing is proof his campaign already knows the problems are real and is trying to get ahead of them quietly instead of coming clean.

NEW 🧵: GOP U.S. Senate candidate @Michele_Tafoya has deleted her entire Substack publication, "Michele Tafoya: Let's Get Sane," from public view. Tafoya had written anti-Trump posts, along with her takes on a variety of subjects. The mass deletion was done in the last few weeks.
The link to Tafoya's Substack has been removed from her Substack profile. Her Substack feed contains dead links or removed posts, similar her X/Twitter accout.
Tafoya also had a custom Linktree to share her Substack, podcasts, and other content, which has also been deleted.
She's making it difficult for the public to learn about her vast record of political commentary while she's running for public office.
Question 2. President Trump recently claimed he won Minnesota in 2016, 2020, and 2024 — despite official results showing he lost all three. Do you agree with him? If not, why haven’t you corrected the record?
Question 3. If you are elected with President Trump’s endorsement, how will that make Minnesota a better state, not just for your supporters, but for all Minnesotans?
🧵: This is another must-read thread from @daniellarsonpro. He updates his thread with a new analysis of @AJInvestigates' reporting and correctly questions why Lagoe ignored @wecovery_me. As Daniel correctly noted, "Selective outrage ≠ journalism."
One of the questions I often get asked is how to engage with a journalist with a bias or agenda. It can be intimidating to push back on a reporter, especially if they are aggressive. I think @daniellarsonpro has presented evidence of the most egregious examples I've seen.
@daniellarsonpro Set aside everything @daniellarsonpro has posted in his threads and look at how @AJInvestigates interacted with Daniel on X/Twitter. He didn't respond to any of Daniel's points or information. He didn't answer any of Daniel's questions. He was dismissive.
UPDATE: Here's an analysis of @Randerson041's posting based on X/Twitter accounts connected to him. He uses other accounts to astroturf "support" for his agenda and to troll and attack @daniellarsonpro. This same echo chamber also amplified @AJInvestigates's yellow journalism.
As documented by @tweetbinder, a leading X analytics firm, @Randerson041 and his subsidiaries made up the leaderboards of @AJInvestigates's reporting. This is classic astroturfing. Why didn't Lagoe notice his stories were being artificially promoted?
@AJInvestigates UPDATE: As I continue my research, the link between Randy Anderson and AJ Lagoe is strong. I came across this bold claim Anderson made in Jan '25. He believes "…everyone commits fraud" in the SUD community. Lagoe has used Anderson as a source, but why hasn't he reported on this?
NEW 🧵: I'm starting a thread about Judd Hoff, the DFL-endorsed candidate in #HD12B against @RepMaryFranson.
I've published posts recently about #mnleg candidates with violent or disturbing pasts that should raise questions about their ability to effectively serve in office.
Last evening, I learned that the DFL endorsed Hoff to run against Franson. I did some research on Hoff last night and today.
I am stunned by what I learn.
Let's start with a video posted by Hoff on Nov 15, 2023.
