While I think I like a lot of what you have to say than what he does (and that's why I'm following you), I really can't support you, when you support the idea of rigging a hearing through the use of dirty tricks.
@ShamashAran Yes, I deleted that and reposted it, just to shake a few trolls. One of whom tried to be "clever" by building his reply around an informal logical fallacy ("begging the question.")
@ShamashAran More or less. He tried to argue that rigging the outcome of a hearing in order to determine whether or not somebody was here illegally was acceptable because the accused were here illegally.

Um, no. That's the issue that the hearing is supposed to resolve.
@ShamashAran The argument implicitly builds an assumption of the validity of its own desired conclusion into its starting assumptions. One should know better than to do that, and "I don't care" isn't a counterargument.

It's just an autobiographical statement.
@ShamashAran Getting more than a little disappointed by what I'm seeing. I thought that some of the people in here were better than this.

@Mehcutcheon @DoDeportations Not something that you should ever post in a public place, on the record, because if a judge is assassinated, that post can be used by a prosecutor against you, even if you had nothing to do with that.

The real criminal justice system has evolved into a nightmare.
@Mehcutcheon @DoDeportations Not just guessing about that. I know a former public defender who shared his prosecution horror stories with me. "Innocent until proven guilty," in practice, doesn't come close to meaning what most people think it means, or even what it should mean.
@Mehcutcheon @DoDeportations There are hundreds of years worth of precedent that have been dropped on top of that simple seeming concept, some of it created by judges with questionable judgement. It's a mess, and it can be weaponized in order to do a runaround on the First Amendment.

@ThePosterity76 @DoDeportations Fedposting, Rich?

Not saying that we should riot. Not saying that we shouldn't. Just saying that speaking about illegal activity in a public place and on the record is unwise, and that would-be rebels need to be smarter than the authorities to have any chance of success, at all.
@ThePosterity76 @DoDeportations I'm sure somebody will have an issue with that simple bit of common sense, but if so, then either he's a hothead destined to run into more trouble than he can handle, or a troll or a CEO trying to bait people into getting themselves into hot water.
@ThePosterity76 @DoDeportations Either way, not going to play along, because I know better. Even if that mental image of a "riot" in which the LEOs end up arresting each other because nobody else showed up for the staged "riot" is almost amusing. Until one thinks about the collateral damage, a half second later

@SomeBitchIIKnow He's a troll posting a bad faith argument. One can see this fact being demonstrated elsewhere.

He's just trying to bait you into posting something that he and his friends (and alts) can flag.
@SomeBitchIIKnow Multiple levels of bad faith on that one. One can consistently take the position that those who hate Black people should have the freedom to say the N word, and still not want to say the word oneself, because one doesn't hate Black people and sees no reason to do so.
@SomeBitchIIKnow To believe that there is an "agrees with me" litmus test in the First Amendment (or should be) is the height of narcissism and of constitutional illiteracy. The whole point of the First is that it DOES protect speech that we don't like.

@SomeBitchIIKnow He often does.

Passing along a warning from a mutual friend - don't visit Chicago. That's not directed against you, personally, L. Chicago has simply become a dangerous place for ANYBODY to visit, because police protection has been broken by the mayor.
@SomeBitchIIKnow There has been a wave of robberies in a number of the neighborhoods that tourists are likeliest to visit, that have been particularly concerning. The victims have been forced into cars at gunpoint, and then ordered to use the bank apps on their phones to empty out their accounts.
@SomeBitchIIKnow The victims that have complied have then been left on the curb by those robbing them, who have gone racing off, confident that they would not be caught, because Brandon, the not so beloved mayor, won't allow the police to engage in hot pursuit.

@sighing_sadly @kabster @PolitiBunny And then after that The Foo (@PolitiBunny) blocked @sighing_sadly, who finished continued writing what she had to say, elsewhere.

..
@sighing_sadly @kabster @PolitiBunny One can read the whole tweetstorm starting over there

but what she's getting at is that Grok created a problem by hallucinating an angry radical feminist shoveback where it was absent, and then by refusing to listen as the author of the tweet he was ...
@sighing_sadly @kabster @PolitiBunny ... explaining told him why he was wrong. Seriously, Grok argued with a user about the meaning of her own tweets, instead of backing off and accepting the correction.

This does raise questions, like "who programmed Grok to do that, and why."

@sighing_sadly @PolitiBunny Foo - would you be willing to un-block Sigh (@sighing_sadly)?
@sighing_sadly @PolitiBunny When you blocked her, she was merely trying to show how much absurd drama Grok was generating in his hyper-woke summaries of her tweets, about her harmless suggestion that Kabster have his girlfriend make him some biscuits and gravy.
@sighing_sadly @PolitiBunny I could link to the full discussion, if you'd like. It didn't seem like the sort of thing that you'd object to.
