I spent time with Elders, Chiefs, and others at the @AFN_Updates Special Chiefs Assembly yesterday, with the goal of making the relationship between our government and First Nations even stronger. It’s clear we share that goal, and we spoke about how we can reach it together. Prime Minister Justin Trude...
We spoke about keeping people safe and moving towards community-based safety and wellness projects. We discussed protecting and conserving nature. And we went over what more needs to be done to right past wrongs and injustices, including wrongful surrenders of land.
We also spoke about violence against Indigenous women and the work we’re doing together to address this ongoing tragedy. And we reaffirmed our commitment to supporting healing as we continue to acknowledge, recognize, and accept painful truths.

On anticipe le versement de l’Allocation canadienne pour les travailleurs, pour fournir de l’argent aux travailleurs à faible revenu. Pour la classe moyenne, on crée de bons emplois dans l’exploitation des minéraux critiques essentiels aux véhicules électriques et aux batteries.
