Wait, WHAT? @Comey, you are running a major counter-INTELLIGENCE investigation and not only did you withhold that from Congress - against all established practice of quarterly briefings - you NEVER briefed the Director of National INTELLIGENCE? That's your story?

At the time Comey briefed Trump (claiming Clapper asked him to), FBI knew the following:

1. Dossier author Steele had been terminated as an FBI source for leaking to media

2. FBI's OWN source review found the dossier only "minimally corroborated"

3. Hilary Clinton paid for it

Did the only honest man in Washington, g-man James Comey tell Trump *any* of that? No

claims the briefing was only because Comey & Clapper knew the media had the dossier & it was about to be published

1. Media hadn't ran with it despite having it for months. Knew they'd get sued (& did)

2. They needed something "official" as a "hook" - WHICH YOU GAVE THEM

Another big problem: whoever was leaking to CNN claimed Steele, his information AND sub-sources were only NOW (as of Jan 2017) "credible enough" to be briefed to the President-elect as they had been "checked out"

So if the dossier was only (supposedly) now credible enough to just discuss in Jan 2017, what the hell is the FBI doing using it as "the bulk" of an application to a secret FISA court for a warrant to spy on an American citizen, @carterwpage, *months before that*, in Oct 2016?

Whoever leaked this secret classified briefing to CNN also said Trump was presented with "documents" contained the dossier allegations. We now know he wasn't presented with ANY documents, just @Comey giving an oral briefing, 1-2-1, with very little of the context of the dossier

That means @Comey probably isn't the leaker to CNN, as that crucial detail is wrong

So, who knew about the private briefing with Trump?

So, when do two FBI agents turn up unannounced to interview James Clapper and James Comey under oath, with a penalty of 5 years in federal prison if they lie? Because that's EXACTLY what happened to @GenFlynn (ambushed at WH) and @carterwpage (ambushed in NY building lobby)

It's time to get both these guys under oath with criminal investigators
