i saw somewhere that for a token to be able to become a long term SoV, it has to solve for a sustainable security budget
reasoning is that if the security budget ever falls, the network could be attacked (say with double spends), which rekts the sanctity of the SoV token
looking at Bitcoin, it has ~40M USD of daily BTC issuance, while Bitcoin miners are earning ~700K USD from daily txn fees
as Bitcoin block rewards continue halving, txn fees must become the main source of the security budget

wake up babe, new oracle benchmark just dropped!
so looking at ETH/USD data, we have some interesting observations
Chainlink is lagging most CEX data sources by 300-800ms, which seems kinda bad at first glance... chaoslabs.xyz/posts/oracle-r…
but compared with other oracles, Chainlink is actually really fast!
even Binance's own oracle moves slower than Chainlink
