On Twitch, I asked ChatGPT to write an outline for a Glaswegian Cyberpunk movie (1983) then asked MidJourney to render screenshots. Pictured is variations of cyborg assassin JACK confronting our protagonist Mae. She is fighting against a gang-boss corporation called The Machine. Mae initially works for The Machine but realises the extent of their corruption after a surprise encounter with leader of a rebel hacker group, played by @Scroobiuspipyo

Wait till those "AI Art" detractors hear about the printing press. It's agony to see a conversation that deserves a dissertation reduced into a tweet. Simplifying complex conversation encourages binary thinking, aggression & vilification of the other side. It’s a tool that creative people can use. Some have been using it for unethical means. Others have been using it to reduce laborious processes. There’s no value in labour for the sake of toil. There’s a strange puritan vibe creeping in to a lot of these discussions.

The amount of unnecessary grief this guy’s been through in the past year would make your toes curl. I’ve been through the same, by the same folk, for a year longer. I don’t expect any apologies or admissions of guilt from them, but glad I don’t feel it in my belly any more. I haven’t spoken about it much as it tends to fuel them for a few days whenever I do and it’s not worth the stress. It has been one of the most traumatic things I’ve been through as an adult. Simply because I live stream. It’s unacceptable. Nobody deserves to be treated poorly.
