Noting that there have been 7 mass shootings in the past week & seeing all the cut-and-paste "thoughts & prayers" comments from "conservative" politicians again, I have to say that while the gun lobby via the NRA is a factor, this has gone far beyond that. We are no longer (1/2)
in a debate over policy, whether social programs are too generous or not enough; we are in a war of good vs. evil. The evil side seeks absolute power, & nurturing the ongoing terror (see: Kyle R.) works in their favor. (More) (2/2)
