Confidence That Brings Peace! 🧵

How can we have peace in the midst of trials so heavy that we cannot see the way forward? Years ago, I suffered intensely from panic attacks. At that time, I lived in constant fear that something was fundamentally wrong with me and that death was imminent.

Hope in This Life: Strength for the Journey! 🧵

We know that when this life is over—if we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ we have a great reward and a future hope awaiting us. But what about in this life? How will we endure all that we must face in the here and now?

Does God Hear My Prayers? 🧵

Sometimes it seems like when we pray that God doesn’t hear our prayers. Our situation doesn’t seem to change, and the thing we requested doesn’t happen. Yet Scripture assures us: God does hear, and He does answer—though not always as we expect. Psalm 34:17-19
The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Finisher! 🧵

Jesus is called the Author and Finisher of our faith. Our faith in His finished work on the cross on our behalf begins our journey down the path of faith, and He who began a good work in us will carry it through to the end! Hebrews 12:1-4
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Your Help Cometh! 🧵

There will be many times in our life we will cry out to the LORD, “LORD, I need You; LORD we need You, LORD, please send help!” Christian’s are not immune to pain and suffering in this life. Our salvation does not give us a way around trials—but rather a Way through them.

What Are You Asking? 🧵

Why do we keep looking for peace and justice in political leaders, or movements? Maybe we do so because deep down, we’re longing for our true King! When we pray for justice and peace on earth, or when we pray “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” we are asking for God’s divine order to be fully established.

Facing Your Fears! 🧵

What are you facing today, beloved? Fear, uncertainty, anxiety? You're not alone. Jesus said this —

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Beloved, we have been given so much. Even when we did not deserve it—God lavished His love, mercy, and grace upon us! At what cost? His beloved Son, Jesus Christ! And He didn’t wait for us to reach out to Him, to ask for salvation, or for His grace, mercy, and forgiveness. He poured out Himself, even unto death on the cross!

This is LOVE! 💖

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

What is allegiance? It is devotion or loyalty to a person, group, or cause.

Where is your allegiance today? More importantly, where should it be as a Christian? 🔍 God is Actively Searching

The Word of God tells us that He looks all over the earth, searching for those whose allegiance is to Him!

Strengthen The Weak! 🧵

How do we treat the weak among us? Do we belittle them because they are weak? Or rather do we encourage them in their weakness? Encouragement doesn’t mean we don’t exhort them and instruct them in God’s Word, but it means we are patient with them as God works in their lives!

Each Day Has Enough Trouble! 🧵

We are told in God’s Word not to worry about the future, but to trust in the provision, and protection of our Father in heaven for each day!

Our lives are to be lived one day at a time! Luke 9:23

Every Word Of God Is Pure! 🧵

Do you value the Word of God? Do you believe it is true; every Word of it? If every Word of God is pure and true, and you believe and value it, do you read His written Word? We are told to hide His Word in our hearts! Psalm 119:10-12
With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes.

Whatever Brings You Glory! 🧵

Are you willing to pray, LORD, do in my life whatever brings You glory?

Praying that prayer, is like praying the prayer we often talk about that I have prayed for my children, and my loved ones, and yes, each of you reading this message today! That prayer is this — LORD, do whatever it takes in our lives to make our hearts completely Yours; don’t leave us alone until our hearts are fully surrendered to You!

Waiting Is Hard! 🧵

Waiting is so hard, but waiting with hope makes it so much better!

I wrote the message below a couple of years ago but I want to share it again today, as I see in my own life and family those who feel like their hopes and dreams will never be realized! Hope deferred, the Word says, makes the heart sick, but when your hope is finally realized, it is a tree of life!

Who are the wicked? 🧵

When you think of the wicked, what comes to your mind? We associate wickedness with the ungodly of this world. Wicked they are, but the Word of the LORD; the prophets of God spoke in great part to the wicked among God’s own people! Look at the Word often quoted today! Who is God speaking to here? His people!

President Trump — Abortion! 🧵

Everyone wants President Trump to stand against abortion and other things that go against Biblical values, like homosexual marriage! I more than most want this and that is my prayer.
1/ Almost everyone in his family supports the right to choice. His son Eric has stated as recently as July of 2024 that his dad, Donald Trump has always been in the center on the issues of abortion and same sex marriage!

Walking Through The Fog! 🧵

I’ve shared with you before about a poster I had in my room as a teen. The poster depicted a contrast between light and darkness. Beloved, what will we do when we come to the edge of all the light we have? Will we walk from the light into the fog; fog that causes us to either retreat in fear, or stand still paralyzed, unable to move at all?

The Dark Threads Are Just As Needful! 🧵

We don’t understand how the things in our life that seem so difficult are working together for our good, and for His good purposes.

Sometimes life just seems too hard and we ask why LORD? Why must I go through this? We don’t see things from His perspective. We don’t know how each situation is being woven together, not only in our lives, but in the lives of others, to form something we could never imagine — An eternal weight of glory!

You Would Not! 🧵

Sitting still and waiting on the LORD is not easy for those used to instant gratification, instant answers, or those who feel they must do something! The LORD tells His people this!
