This is to all of you who support the Second Amendment and believe it protects your right to own lethal weapons. First, the Second Amendment itself: Along with others collectively known as the Bill of Rights, the amendment was added to the Constitution in 1791. It reads "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
