This is an absolutely APPALLING column by Dale.

Quite possibly one of the worst things I’ve ever read. At least he has identified a quote he disagrees with. But he doesn’t identify WHY/IF this is wrong. Just that it ‘was deliberately designed to back up the outrageous comments of Musk.’

But nothing about this is incorrect. Just that it might agree with someone Dale doesn’t like. Image

Burnham is leaning into the notion that elected officials aren’t deserving of the pay they receive. That’s maybe good for his electability, but bad for attracting top talent into public life. He earns £110,000 to manage a conurbation of just less than 3.5 million people. Never mind giving it away, it’s not enough in the first place.
