Africa and Central/South America have not been bled dry of their natural resources. Africa still has massive mineral mineral reserves, gold, oil, platinum, cobalt, diamonds, and a tremdouus amount of arable land, amounting to up to 60% of the world's uncultivated arable land.

It's not all gone, not even remotely. Africa is an amazingly rich continent. The issue of it being stolen isn't an issue. There's more than plenty there. Unfortunately for Africa, mining/refining and agriculture were not something they figured out on their own and struggle with alone in modern day Africa. The entire world donated trillions of dollars to the continent to help them.

The resources are still there, but not being utilized to the extent that is required to thrive from them. Instead of doing so, America/Europe and Asia are frequently blamed. A massive detriment to Africa has been the pan African revisionist movement. They speak of a time when even Sub-Saharan Africa held all the technology and intelligence and had built the most advanced civilizations. How is your food situation? Let me guess, you're going to just hunt and fish. You know who has that plan too? Everyone. If the worst happens, we will see the deer and game population disappear rapidly. People will hunt and have no way to preserve meat outside of winter storage. Prioritizing weapon selection for someone new. A quick thread. There's a few things everyone should have, and some are just extra.

1. A reliable pistol that you shoot fast and accurately. My normal daily is a glock 19 with a surefire x300u. My favorite pistol to shoot is my Triarc 2011 double stack 9mm. A carbine chambered in 5.56. That's a SOLGW 11.5 with an eotech and MAWL ir laser and illuminator on the left. If a gun is going to be used fir night vision/night day shooting I prefer eotech. Otherwise I favorite the Aimpoint T2.

You don't NEED a battle rifle, but if you can afford one, get one. Knights Armament SR-25 in the black, my favorite 7.62x51 and the SCAR 17 on the right. Both will serve you well.
