There's no set formula. You can get by solely being a good DJ, it's not impossible. At the same time there are people who feel forced to release music even if the tracks aren't good. The secret is to just be unique. After all it's art.
A way to do this without releasing music is do radio, find new interesting ways to present your mixes. get mixes on big platforms. Your aim should be sharp. This is coming from someone who hasn't released music yet and exists as a dj and able to play at the same big level

The way gen z talks about sex and or consent culture is extremely alarming. They're very sex negative and think of sex as a very clinical thing. When in reality sexuality is often times non verbal and physical. We should interrogate the limits of consent culture.
Gen z is extremely sex negative. I see so many kids on tik tok talk about sex and straight up sounding like Andrea Dworkin. Alot of this has to do with poor sex education and learning about sex via Twitter threads and tumblr. It's a very clinical non- nuaunced approach.
The way Marxist Leninists frame the USSR as "great savior of the Jewish people" is so problematic on many levels. USSR literally did a pact wit Nazi Germany which hurt the population. there were all sorts of pogroms & systemic racism under Stalin against Jewish minorites in USSR
the Russian Revolution overthrew a centuries-old regime of official antisemitism in the Russian Empire and lenin was vocally against it. However, the previous legacy of antisemitism was continued by USSR, especially under Stalin.
