1/4 While lockdown may have ended, your responsibilities haven’t. A certain level of restrictions remain in place, including visitors to another household.
Here’s what you need to know:
◾ You may only have five visitors to your household at any one time. 2/4◾ This limit does not include children under the age of 12 and there is no time limit for visits.
◾ Visitors do not need to be the same 5 people each time, but try to minimise the number of different people coming to your house as we continue to manage the current outbreak.

The Gold Creek School Pop-up COVID-19 Testing Facility will soon stop operating to allow the school to prepare to welcome students back onsite.

Thank you to every member of the team who helped support the Gold Creek School Pop-up COVID-19 Testing Facility! The Gold Creek site will still open to the public from 8am to 4pm tomorrow, Sunday 17 October, for a final day of operation.

Testing is still a vital step in managing COVID-19. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, you should get tested. Even when you’re fully vaccinated.

Hi Canberra, you can expect to see changes to our reporting of exposure locations going forward.
Here’s a rundown of the changes:
• Monitor for symptoms locations will no longer be listed in our exposure locations table. Image Monitoring for symptoms should be an ongoing part of our lives, as well as taking appropriate action.
• Only casual contact sites that have been assessed as presenting a high impact risk to the community will be listed and require action – this means you'll see less of these.

Today we reached >99% of Canberrans aged 12 years and over who have received 1 dose of a COVID-19 vaccine 🎉💪And 76% of Canberrans aged 12 years and over have now received 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine 💉💉What an achievement for us as we transition out of the ACT lockdown 🏆 Image Many of you have asked what population data we use to calculate our vax rates. We use the March 2021 Estimated Resident Population (ERP) provided by @ABSStats. This means we're using the latest data since the start of the rollout - noting population data is always an estimate. The NSW Government has announced that from today, restrictions for people entering NSW from the ACT have been eased.
People entering NSW from the ACT will no longer need to complete a declaration form on entry into NSW or follow stay-at-home rules on arrival. Image However, under ACT health directions, NSW remains declared a COVID affected area. ACT residents travelling into NSW, beyond our approved border postcodes, will still be required to have an exemption prior to their return to the ACT and quarantine for 14 days.
