🇸🇾How can anyone still fall for the propaganda: “Assad is evil and “rebels” (terrorist groups) have freed Syria”?!
Yep, this will be a 🧶 about it.
The conquest of Syria by NATO-backed ISIS terrorist forces will go down in history as one of the greatest travesties of the 21st century. The leaders of the Middle East have failed their people.
The Syrian Civil War was never about religious identity. That was their cover for legitimizing the two decade long conquest of the country. The real purpose of the operation in Syria was to destabilize the Arab World much like Arab Spring so-called "revolutions" and slam the boot down on top of the Syrian peoples' heads.
Now that terroristic forces have overthrown the government, the various minorities of the country which have fought for so long against looters and genociders will be vulnerable to attacks by extremist groups once again.
"Leftists" are supporting this as some sort of victory for the "oppressed" in Syria. But what has this support actually achieved? Turkey, a full NATO member, is openly declaring their ambitions to conquer lands in Syria, forcing the people there to use their worthless Lira currency.
And since the actual problem of land allocation and the question of labor in the country will almost certainly not be solved by the new regime, political suppression in the aftermath of the war will become far more brutal and sadistic. The new regime will likely fall into infighting, bringing a new era of chaos and instability to a country already suffering from almost two decades of constant warfare and economic crises.
Who is to blame for this crisis? The weakness of the government forces in Syria was already known by their so-called supporters for years. Turkey was everpresent threats that these "resistance" people willfully ignored, continuing to advocate for regime change against the only anti-imperialist faction in the country for the entirety of the civil war. Now that regime change has come, people with Palestine flags in their usernames and bios cheer the NATO terrorists on for the sake of the "ummah" (weren’t they blaming NATO about Palestina/ Israel 5 min ago?).
Hamas, the terrorist organisation, welcomed the change of power in Syria, describing the recent events in the country as "a success for the Syrian people on their path toward achieving freedom and justice."
Does it ring a bell or not yet?

reasoning. It views history as march to an inevitability that can be directed by the control of institutions to facilitate necessary social change. In this way it deviates from Orthodox Marxism whose focus is largely on the economic.
